The WKU ge we won when Faniels numbers were so low is because Grothe started that game and played along with BJ. Grothe tore his ACL against Charleston southern a week later

Grother started the 09 game @ WKU. This game we ran for 200+ and WKU was near the end of a 26 game losing streak so 57 was enough to get it done.

I was playing when Marquel only put up 60 yards of passing that evening. Truth be told, that was a big win for us as JMU was ranked pretty high for I-AA school at the time and we were in our transition season - also the game was a blowout at halftime and Rafael Williams was churning out four yards a carry. We didn't really turn to the passing game much that night - however they did keep us bottled up pretty well in the air when we did.
