  1. This week's Bottom 10 on ESPN is awesome!! http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/page/bottom10101315/made-rivalries-monday-meet-bottom-10
  2. When you present a downfield threat, even those bubble screens we have come to hate start working too!
  3. Believe it or not, the Syracuse game had the fewest passing plays of any game all season (22). This time they were actually throwing the ball downfield and spreading the defense, allowing the run game to be better also.
  4. I wonder if Mensa is going to revoke his membership after hearing about this...
  5. There is no doubt in my mind that we would have beaten Memphis. We would have had a much better shot at FSU and Maryland too.
  6. There is some crazy billboard voodoo going on here. After the "Big 4" billboard we got Holtz'd. Now they put up that billboard in our territory and hit a brick wall of instant Karma! They've already played the easiest teams on their schedule and will be VERY lucky to even pull out one win!
  7. We'd still be behind 7 other teams.... Baylor's stats are nuts! http://espn.go.com/college-football/statistics/team/_/stat/total/sort/yardsPerGame
  8. Is there an Ernie Bielema somewhere? Does he know he has a son that went to UCF?
  9. I don't care what anybody says, you don't "learn" to win. You need the pieces in place that allow you to win. The three major pieces that we are missing that are causing us to lose are creative/not predictable play-calling on offense, a TRUE dual-threat QB, and an offensive line. Fix those three issues and we will win!
  10. A lot of freshmen and sophomores on the two deep...
  11. He's going by total yards and the only reason we are #19 is because we have played one fewer game than most teams... http://espn.go.com/college-football/statistics/team/_/stat/total/position/defense/sort/totalYards
  12. We dropped in ranking to #101 according to Golfweek after that REALLY poor showing. We were even below UCiF (#92)! This tournament should bump us above them... http://rankings.golfweek.com/rankings/default.asp?T=mt
  13. If you watch the video, he has very slow feet. That may be why schools are staying away. Lose a little weight and that may improve.
  14. No, more intensity. For three years we've been hearing CWT say that he would put players on the field that #dosomething. Haven't seen much of anything very often. "Wow!! That was the fastest and most intense 3-and-out I have ever seen!!"
  15. No longer on the waiting list although I did expect them to be higher on the list... http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/page/bottom10092215/rutgers-scarlet-knights-move-bottom-10-another-loss
  16. I think Mark Hudspeth would be a homerun hire! http://mgoblog.com/diaries/coaching-candidate-making-case-mark-hudspeth
  17. I have become more and more convinced each season that Taggart does not have the smarts and ingenuity to excel at this level. Great coaches find ways to win with lesser talent than what Taggart inherited. What has held Taggart's head above water in the past was his ability to recruit, but recruiting only takes you so far. His lack of imagination and creativeness on offense plus his stubbornness to relinquish control of the play calling duties will ultimately be his downfall. 3 years of long passes for negative yards that have never worked, ie bubble screens, continuously being called will have you question any coach's football IQ.
  18. My top choice would be Mark Hudspeth. He inherited a 3-9 UL-Lafayette team that hadn't seen a bowl game in 41 years and immediately got them to 9-4 his first season and has 4 bowl WINS in his 4 seasons there.
