  1. Where's that logo on the bathing suite? --I keep looking but can't find it. [by the way, Bulliever, if you lose another advertiser, don't blame us!]
  2. I'm curious, are we getting more money for the next five years [AAC distribution + BE exit purse share] or when the former Big East was intact? Ultimately, it's about the mula, which drives the program...
  3. I didn't know this about him. [rated a five-star prospect and No. 8 wide receiver in the country by Rivals] http://www.gousfbulls.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=37330&SPID=2981&DB_LANG=C&DB_OEM_ID=7700&ATCLID=205251006&Q_SEASON=2013
  4. I've got some of guys playing chess. Let me know if you are interested.
  5. I don't want to start a thread that seems like I'm trying to blow sunshine and all of that. But from my perspective, ever since Greg took over the coverage of the Bulls, he’s done a great job. I think as much as anything else that has happened with USF athletics’ growth over the years, having Greg cover the Bulls has really enhanced my experience as fan. Anyway, this Bull just wants to give a shout out to Greg & the Tampa Bay Times for making my Bulls experience better. And more than that, I really appreciate Greg staying in the middle; I can’t ever recall him playing homer or trying to be an “investigative reporter for the tabloids.†Thanks, Greg! GO BULLS!
  6. Occasionally stop by the practice field to kill some time and recently saw a lefty qb throwing to what can only be described as a specimen. Don't know if it was a wr or te but he was ripped liked a JPP ... and had great hands, catching virtually everything. My first guess was Davis but could have been Dunk ..... Is Bench a southpaw? Did you notice his abs? Were they tone? (don't take offense. I'm just being silly!)
  7. I'm starting to feel it again. [i had completely lost "that feeling" for the last three years.] We have the facilities, the location, the funding and now the coaching staff to do something special. I truly feel that we are back on track for USF-awesomeness II. Yes, we really rocked the college football scene with the first phase, from the trailers and walk-ons to #2 in the polls in some short years, that was really something. Now, it's phase II. And I think we are right on the cusp of taking off again! Sure, the conference thing is a bleeding wound. But we do have the money that will fund us for about five years. So, in essence, we have the time to get phase II soaring. And to be honest, Leavitt and company had a more challenging task with starting from scratch in phase I. Now, in phase II, it's just a matter of recruiting and winning on the field -and running a clean program. I really, really think we have the right head coach in place. Succeed in phase II and USF will be in a power conference within the next five years. I Bullieve! GO BULLS!
  8. It's got some expletives. But it's pretty funny.
  9. I can't recall if there was ever a time when both programs underwent so many changes at the same time. In reality, both programs are almost starting over after hitting the reset button. Football, I can't see how we will be worse than last year. Just not possible. Basketball, hmm... "Show me the money."
  10. I never saw the fallout coming for both programs this time a year ago -I'm just talking about wins & losses. So, are we in better shape right now than a year ago?
  11. Any team that shows up at the meetings, plays the conference schedule and takes money from the conference should be expected to have the logo and the whole nine yards. "Earl here is going away to college next fall. For now, he still pumps gas for us and does the occasional tire change, so he wears the uniform and name tag. Yup, he still works here."
  12. It goes to the PayPal page. And then if you have PayPal, you just use that. That's what I did. PayPal is the one that's processing the donations. I've done my part. It's up to you cats Bulls now!
  13. I use the psychic network. No commercials. No blackouts. And I get the exact score given to me before the games so I can place my bets with complete assurance.
  14. Brad runs the ads to pay for the costs of running the site. When he first started the site, it was simple hosting and whatnot and a few donations got him going. Now, I think he's on a dedicated server and all of that, so I'm sure the monthly overhead is getting up there. I had the honor of meeting Brad once. He's the nicest Bull you'll ever meet. I can't imagine how much time and resources he's dedicated to this site since day one. Anyway, what do you say to pitching in and helping Brad to keep this site running for all of our enjoyment without putting monetary stress on him? What do you say to Brad putting a donation button at the top of the site and we help to pay for our community costs? (I'm just throwing this out there, Brad. Sorry for chiming in.)
  15. 1:28 Comment From Guest Greg, is Chucky Atkins still returning to USF as a student and to the coaching staff as a student assistant? Is there even any money in that position? 1:29 Greg Auman: Chucky hasn't commented since his initial statements to Orlando radio, but yes, he's expected to start summer classes July 1, and with that, take a role as a student coach. There's not a salary involved -- this would be something where he gets a start in college coaching while he finishes the degree he needs to get a real position with a salary. http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bulls/
  16. Greg said today that it's a solid. I trust Greg more than those psudo reporters in mouse land. [Okay, I see they wrote an article.] Hmmm....
  17. When I started at USF, all we had were Bar Benders and the men's basketball team, or so it seemed to me. And so bball was USF -and success was the NCAA's. Football and the rest have been nothing but a dream realized. When you get the BB gun for Christmas (and not shoot your eye out!), you don't ask for much more!
  18. It seems like there's this barrier now. But are our academic standards higher for athletes than the big three? Miami is private, so I'm sure it's different there. I know our graduation rate took a dive for a while there. So did that prompt a stricter standard or are we using the same guidelines as the state schools?
  19. It's like an old girlfriend. "Yeah, she was hot... What was I thinking? Why did I leave the toilet seat up?"
  20. Obviously, from my handle, I've been a Bull since 1989. My biggest wish was for USF to make the NCAA's again and win some games. That was a 20-year wait. Man, when it happened, every cell in my body was partying. I don't think I've ever been that happy for that long of a durating, ever. So, what would you like for USF Athletics to accomplish?
  21. Man, you Bulls aren't excited over Swanson? If you are into rankings and positional talent, he's the highest recuit we've ever pulled in for this position. That says a lot. He could very well turn out to be the best player on the team for this class. Well, that's expecting a lot, but on paper he has a lot of potential. Kudos to the coaching staff for pulling in Swanson and Bench! GO BULLS!
