    Let's face it, we have not seen the new offense. We've been used to the offense built around the QB since day one of USF football. Could be it that we are (me!) over paranoid about having a good QB behind center? Let's suppose that all we need is someone to hold on to the ball and do an okay job, not a Grothe or a B.J. Daniels to do magic tricks for us to win a game. But I keep hearing it's a complicated offense. That part worries me; it makes holding on to the snap that much harder!

    It's May. Somebody should know if this guy's coming to USF or heading to JUCO. I could be happier of I knew he was coming to USF, even if we don't get a QB.

    Thanks for doing all the work and sharing the info with us on here everyone! You Bulls are awesome. Maybe, just maybe, we fans will be rewarded with a transfer QB this month. Fingers crossed. (If we get into June and no new QB, it's time to start buying hard liquor for football season.)

    Right now, any QB that we care about can't come with this statement: "he will have to sit a year." It's like talking to a good-looking girl and then you hear, "my boyfriend." Everything after that just becomes, "blah, blah...."

    Yes, there are concerns about the other positions, of course. But the QB is the field general. You put PFC I'm-scared back there and the whole team knows it. Everybody plays worse, and then it all goes bad. I'd like a competent QB before all other positions.

    First, do you think we will be good enough to make it to a bowl game without signing another QB this summer? And, second, if we do sign another QB, be it Bench or someone else (like the QB from Arkansas!), would you feel better about making it to a bowl game?

    We don't need no stinking QB to run the offense! All running backs and we do a lot of reverses. And then on 3rd down, we throw the deep ball into the end zone: one of those times it will pay off. USF football, where Defense Football was born. GO BULLS!

    2012-2013 has been brutal for many of us Bulls. But like in all things, bad times don't last forever. So, what stands out as your all-time USF Athletics milestones & achievements so far?

    I think we can only be better with him coming to USF. If he signs, I'm fine with it. If not, I'm okay, too.

    We're hurting so badly for a QB that it's like when you're so broke in college that you are looking for change to add to the last bit of money to get enough for some lunch. You get all excited, thinking that there's got to be money under the sofa or the easy chair (Trickett). Zilch! You get depressed. ...But then you remember there's the car! Maybe there's change in the car. Enter Mr. Bench. It ain't easy when you're poor --QB poor.

    Like an incoming freshman, he doesn't have to start classes until the Fall. Just as long as he's accepted as a grad student before Fall practice. True. However, if he wants to be on campus practicing and working with the coaches and players, he has to be taking summer classes, I'm sure. We'll have to see how all of this plays out.

    If he doesn't commit by Wednesday of this week, I think he's not coming to USF. How does a guy who is supposed to start grad school on the 13th going to pull it off in such a short time? Prediction: down from 89% to 73%

    I'm almost certain he's going to be a Bull. I move my prediction up to 89%. I tell 'ya, with him on board, we can all breathe a sigh of relief over the summer. C'mon, Mr. Trickett!
