  1. My all-time favorite movie scene (any movie!) was the scratpad scene. It took genius to come up with something like that. Pure genius.
  2. I'm just curious how everybull feels about all the changes. We've undergone so many changes from top to bottom. And, yes, I created a new word: "everybull"!
  3. Okay, taking time out from being productive, here's my ordered list: 1. Cool Hand Luke 2. Star Wars 3. Shane 4. The Lord of the Rings trilogy 5. Shaun of the Dead *undecided: I don't know yet if The Big Lebowski makes my all-time list. I've only seen it once so far.

  5. This is my list so far, in no special order. Shane Cool Hand Luke Shaun of the Dead Star Wars

  7. This will be interesting. I don't have mine yet. But I know "Cool Hand Luke" is on my list.
  8. Remembering that he was thinking about maybe walking-on at Arkansas... This is like the college days when you are taking the guys to Mickey D's and one guy is broke and doesn't want to go. Everybody finally convinces him to go along for the ride. At the counter, knowing he's broke, you offer him a drink, he says no. Fries? no. And then you hear: "I'll take #5 with an apple pie, though." WTF?
  9. I didn't know what to expect. I had heard that it was classic. So I was thinking it was some sort of spoof bowling movie. Gotta watch it again and catch all the stuff I missed. There was also a great message, too: Lebowski did everything and was an achiever to the max. On the other hand, all Dude did was try to enjoy his life.
  10. Any you fans of this movie? I finally watched it; I just could never get ahold of of the movie. Anyway, that scene with the scratchpad is a classic! Comedy genius.
  11. So we are his safety net if he can't get an offer from Louisville? I'm pulling for the USF RBs on the team. I don't care if he comes to USF or not; I've wasted enough time on this guy. I care about the players who want to be at USF!
  12. Matt gave a very classy interview. And he's my favorite QB thus far because he swashed the gnats!
  13. Thanks for the link to the podcast -five minutes in it gets interesting.
  14. "turned him down yesterday" --the day Strong turned Dyer down or when Schad and Weekley said so? If Dyer just visited Louisville, when Strong turned him down becomes important.
  15. That link is so important: look at how many games of football we've played as compared to the other schools!
  16. When I first started to read up on Dyer, he made it out like nobody would even flinch at him; he was even willing to walk-on at Arkansas. 1) He visited USF. 2) He apparently visited Louisville. I'm just guessing here (going on that article Greg published). I think we are still in it and will be one of the options. But this makes me worry about the sincerity of this guy -that's he's changed. I don't know. Just a gut feeling. Makes me worried, though. Maybe we should let him get his "fresh start" elsewhere.
  17. http://www.geocities.com/colosseum/pressbox/8121/dabucsdb/usf.htm I just found the link above. Really interesting. Oh, this one below is full of college football facts. http://cfbdatawarehouse.com/index.php
  18. At least we are moving up from a tweet to an article and then another tweet of the article!
  19. I think you are right. I can't ever recall us with this many early commits. GO BULLS!
  20. What's the risk? How about something like this: He takes a bunch of the guys on the team out. Nobody has a valid driver's license (something that plagues our players a lot). They get pulled over and there's a gun inside the car. Oh, there's also some grass. It hits the papers and four guys are suspened, all starters. USF looks really stupid for taking a chance on him. ----------------------- BUT I don't think it will be like that if he comes to USF. I've been following and I think he's a good guy; I think he's learned his lesson. Plus, he's got people behind him now. If he were on his own, no way I'd bring him aboard.
  21. I move the possibility of Dyer coming to USF to 90%! 1) Greg's article clearly shows that there's strong interest on Dyer's side of coming to USF -after the visit. 2) With CWT talking to Fitz Hill, a college president, I think this will remove USF's worries. 3) USF needs a RB and Michael knows he can start here: the two sides need each other. 4) This articles shows that there are people behind Dyer and it's not just an act: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2012/10/09/michael-dyer-auburn-arkansas-state-arkansas-baptist/1622771/ I think it's USF's decision and I think it's going to be a YES. GO BULLS!
  22. No respect for Chan? As for Yen, I think his training is not that extensive. I think Bruce Lee and Jet Li would be one heckuva match.
  23. Bulls, no fighting among ourselves, please... We are on the same side. Do remember that. This guy, if he comes to USF, is going to help us. Period. I like how things are very quiet on the news front. This bodes well for us.
  24. I've never seen so many stories written around ONE tweet!
