It's a perfect fall day. I was hoping it would've been a little cooler today.

If I had to pick one thing I want to see the our defense holding on 3rd down early in the game.

I was there on Sunday. I totally agree. I have one or two new shirts but I much prefer the old stuff in my closet. I really don't like the gold printed numbers on the Jerseys either. I bought UA shoes there in 2016. I didn't even see shoes this time.

I like the questions about "nerves" and "analysis paralysis", I'm sure the last two minutes of last year's Memphis game are front of mind there. I really don't want to see a prudent game plan on Thursday. I'd love to see Coach embrace the under dog role and take some risks. Throwing the ball when you can't afford to stop the clock, fourth down conversion attempts, all of those things CCS was too prudent to do. CWT in his 2nd year talked about "playing loose" then would call 20 plays for one yard up the middle... Play to win coach!

He played in at least one game last year. Was it Tulsa? I can't remember.

That 2014 game was worse than the score suggested. They could've hung 60+ on us that day. The 2014 season is notable that we had so much young talent and could've easily gone winless. That 4-8 record, felt like we just escaped 4 times that year without losing and yet could've pulled off 5 wins if we had held on vs ECU. I think we will be reminded of 2014 thoughout this season while we wait for Coach Scott to have his 2015 Syracuse breakout moment. I'm optimistic but I'm not gonna hold my breath waiting for it.

I would hate that. Although I do like that players have freedom to transfer if they want especially the red shirt juniors who have graduated. I don't think it's ever a good idea to block a player from going anyhere if that's what they wanna do. We wouldn't even have a transfer portal if not for a few instances like Corey Sutton at KSU or Tom Savage at Rutgers where the coaches were jerks. I had graduated from St. Petersburg Junior College and when it was time to go to a 4 year school I applied to UF/FSU/UCF/USF/FAU/FIU but that was a waste of application fee money because i wanted to stay in this area and go to USF. I always loved this area and this school.

I was a senior in high School in 1992. I definately wanted to see Football at USF. Not sure i would've voted for more athletic fees they should have left that second question off the survey.

Without doing any research i'm going to assume last year's D was the worst ever based on points scored. 2016 is probably 2nd worst. So if we get a defense that's the 2nd worst in history it's an improvement. This will be fun.

He was the biggest victim of Sterlin Gilbert's Offensive system. Johnson was so talented catching the ball he reminded me a little of Marshall Faulk's style, he was so versatile. All those 1 yard dives up the middle his senior year cost him. That kid had 5th round talent or better. I'm glad he made it.

I don't think we've seen a November victory since 2017 when we beat Tulsa at home. Anything more than a 4 win season is hard to imagine. CJS has a lot to prove. I think he needs another year of OJT.

This is the best move for McCloud. He looked really good in his last game so he'll have some options. I hope he finds success.

If college payed players directly I assume they would be staff employees at that point that just work for the school. Being a student should be optional once it's an actual job which makes me think the 4 year eligibility thing would go out the window. I think college football would collapse if that happens.

He had a decent game at Memphis I think and then not much else after. Did he get the covid before the houston game? I would've like to see him get more playing time this year.
