  1. According to the stats on GOUSFBULLS: https://admin.xosn.com/pdf9/2582707.pdf?DB_OEM_ID=7700& Senat did play in the first game but hasn't since, Hall hasn't played. Sanchez was my only other maybe and he has played. I'm going to edit the above two lists to properly reflect these. EDIT: Just kidding. I guess I can't edit my posts from before. Is there a time limit to change them? EDIT2: It also says that Zach Benjamin, Mike Love and Bruce Hector have all played in a game. I'm not sure how accurate that is.
  2. For comparison, the below players did NOT redshirt: CB Lamar Robbins DT Derrick Calloway LB Nigel Harris OT Dominique Threatt (Could have played guard, I can't remember) S Nate Godwin LB (JUCO) Rahmon Swain QB Michael White RB Darius Tice S Hassan Childs DB Johnny Ward DB (JUCO) Torrel Saffold
  3. I'm pretty sure the below scholarship players redshirted. DT Deadrin Senat FB Kennard Swanson OT Jeremi Hall (Maybe?) RB Stafon McCray OG Cameron Ruff DE Mike Love LB Mitchell Wright WR Zach Benjamin DT Bruce Hector K Emilio Nadelman FB Auggie Sanchez (Maybe? Might have played in the first couple of games)
  4. Next year he will be competeing with Mariota and Winston. This year he has a really good chance at being the 2nd QB taken behind Bridgewater. He seems like a smart kid. I bet he goes pro. Good for us if he does.
  5. AC had to play that much last year because we didn't have another PG that could spell him. And last year he was obviously worn out by the end of the game. No player should have to play 38 minutes every single game. Especially a guy like AC who tends to take a lot of hard shots because of his style of play.
  6. Now what we need to do is make something like that, spread it around to all the schools boards, and secretly have EVERY vote go for USF no matter who you select.
  7. Believe what you want. Yeah, I made that up. “As soon as they hired coach Taggart, Coach Scott showed him my film and they offered." You realize this is a high school kid talking at that point, right? You really think CWT just took the word of Scott at face value, after probably just meeting him, without having known about White previously? Also, White played at one of the best schools in Florida; a school that had a ton of D1 prospects last year. I don't know if Coach T was recruiting White for WKU, but it's outrageous to suggest that Taggart didn't know who White was. Also, this conversation is dumb.
  8. So you're going to pass on the healthy senior RB that is averaging 130 yds a game (and is one of the few people on this team that actually knows what it's like to get into the endzone) to give the ball to a true freshman that has 117 yards on the season? I'm really glad you're not the coach. I agree that Tice has looked good, but Shaw has been a monster out there and is a home run threat every time he touches the ball.
  9. RBs have limited shelf lives; there's no need to take unnecessary punishment. If hitting a guy will get you the first down, or give you the possibility of breaking the run, then you do it, but Tice had 4 guys on him. If he ran over the DB, someone else would have taken him down. No point in risking the injury just to prove you are a tough guy and gain one extra yard. Good, smart move by Tice. Protect your body. We need it.
  10. Not even remotely true. I followed Teddys recruitment very closely, and USF was on him hard. We were in it until the end as well. Coach Strong just out recruited Skip and staff.
  11. No excuse. Students are awful and have no school pride. I would smack my friends if they were complaining about a noon kickoff when I was in school. Get to the stadium. Support your school.
  12. I can't find them anywhere. I'm thinking I must have accidentally thrown then away. What are my options?
  13. Jeff, Not to pile on, but I only go to the Times site for the USF blog. How can you expect me to pay for that service, when the last post on it was WEDNESDAY!? During the season, with a conference game, and we go Thursday, Friday, and now most of Saturday (the game ended an hour ago!) without a post? Come on. I don't know if it's your budget, lack of trying, or that the Times just doesn't care. Well, I guess I don't care about the Times now. I've already cancelled by paper subscription.
  14. I've been a huge Bucs fan my entire life, but the moment they hired Schiano my interest began to wane. I still support the Bucs, but I will never root for that guy. Haven't gone to a game since they hired him. Probably won't go to one again until they fire him. That may be me being a bad fan, but I'm ok with that. Besides, I give the Glazers enough money when I'm buying food, drinks, and parking at every Bulls game. I can't wait for an OCS (even if it is a long time from now.)
  15. To be honest, Eveld looked like he was moving better last week. Was really surprised that he juked someone out. Didn't know he had those moves.
  16. ESPN won't cut away from the game if it runs long, right? I'm recording it and watching it starting around 5ish. I'd hate to find out that it moved to another channel half way through the game.
  17. Screw it. I've been moping around all week, but I think Saturday we will turn it around. I believe. USF 17 - 13 Tice Price 300 Floyd starts, but he gets a quick hook after giving up a pick 6 in the first quarter. Eveld comes in and manages the games and gets us a TD and a chip shot FG.Our defense holds the MSU offense to two field goals, and returns the favor with a score of their own. MSU goes through three QBs trying to figure out how to move the ball. Everyone rages that this team didn't show up the week before. Rage turns to confusion about how we possible lost to McNeese.
  18. I wouldn't trust any source that can't even get a conference name right. It's the Pac-12 now.
  19. I don't think we need the whole band. Just get the drum line out there in (Bulls) shirts and shorts to walk in front of the team and make a lot of noise to bring people over. Drum line would need to get there half an hour before the rest of the band though. I don't know if that's possible with the bussing situation, but it's one possible solution.
  20. The guy hasn't played a down in almost two years. Aren't we getting just a wee bit ahead of ourselves? While I think he is good enough to be drafted, I think this is very similiar to Darrell Scott. Lynch will be one and done, even if he hasn't earned a high draft pick. The only way I can see him staying is if he has a season ending injury very early on. Otherwise, he'll be gone.
  21. Lacrosse is a sport for rich white kids who aren't good enough to play football. No thanks.
