I think there is some truth here.

Since BJ is obviously playing injured, I could see putting him in for that reason, but if BJ is healthy no way unless he really out does BJ in practice.

So... can some passionate students chalk "Fire Skip Holtz" messages around campus where Doug and Judy will see them... like on the sidewalks between their car and office. Go out there and chalk up the place Sunday night so Monday morning as they walk from their car to their office it will be the first thing on their mind. Maybe also chalk some "Skip please resign" messages on Skip's path, or maybe "Fire Chris Cosh"

So who won? Temple.... Temple won.... sad I know.

You know, I actually wonder how this season and our last season would turn out differently if we had a QB like AW that was accurate. I'm sure we'd have made a bowl last year, and have many less interceptions and a few more wins.

It's improving.... Texas game was fun to watch... They are 6-0 and highly ranked and we are still 2-4 and a few plays from being 1-5 We should be 1-5.

Holtz... proud no matter the outcome. Holtz says he's proud of our team. I'm not even proud of this team, how could the head coach be proud? I'm embarrassed to wear my USF gear, but Holtz.... well Holtz is proud no matter the outcome. He has no shame.

This game is coming down to the wire... 4th and goal NC state ball, FSU up 16-10, 19 secs left... ...... Then 4th down NC State TD short pass over the middle, 16 seconds remain, 17-16 NC State. Really glad I tuned into the final minutes of this game.

Well maybe some of the former players making it in the NFL will support a buyout. The fans can only hope that those with the means will send a message. Really? Outside of Anthony Henry what has any of them really done for the program once they left? If I missed something list it, because I do not recall any news of the rest of the NFL guys ever really putting anything back into the school or the program. I'm just trying to be optimistic. And seriously, you think Grothe could be any worse than Holtz as an interim? I don't care that he's young or inexperience coach... at least he'll bring passion for the program, which Holtz doesn't have any of. Grothe wants a career in coaching, maybe bring him on staff somewhere. At least he would give a **** not like our current staff. But ANYONE would be better than Holtz. I admit though, Grothe is a little far fetched and maybe not practical or the best choice.

Agree completely. You put your best on the field every game. If Floyd wants reps he'll have to step up in practice and prove he's better. Pull Daniles? Way to reward your best performing player.

It will cost USF a lot more to keep Holtz than to buy him out. 1. Matt Grothe (at least as interim) 2. Sacrifice some facilities and hopefully furious donors will support a buyout and put heat on Wouldard for costing them with the extension 3. Get someone with passion for less than what we're paying Holtz now. Pull a good coordinator from another program? USF cannot afford to keep Holtz for another 5 years. Absolutely cannot afford it.

I agree. They should make the move tonight. Yep, and if all else fails we can make Matt Grothe the interim coach. He is coaching high school right, so I think he could do better than Skip. And if he needed to I'm sure he could call up Leavitt and get some mentoring.

We hear that a lot but I am sorry, that is no excuse. I don't care if you don't trust the coach, I don't care if you think he is unfair or an idiot. You take a scholarship, you accept a spot on a football team, you play with pride. I have had to work on teams with leaders that I thought were inferior all the time, that isn't an excuse for the kind of effort we are seeing. If Skip has any accountability as a coach we'll be practicing under the lights tonight! This isn't poor game plan, it honestly isn't even poor execution. It is flat out no effort. I'd bench every senior for the first half of Louisville. Seniors are the ones expected to set the tone, they are the ones that need to be motivating the locker room. Obviously we aren't getting it done. Holtz needs to send a message. It may be true that the players should put in 110% no matter what, but I don't expect Holtz to be able to get it out of them.
