    Yea, it’s an interesting setup and gets even mor so during the NBA Summer League. Hadn’t been to a game other than the Summer league at Thomas&Mack or Cox prior to Thursday. Was weird yesterday with the UNLV Men’s team playing at the same time as our game. Hope to have Any and all USF teams back out In the future. It was nice watching the ladies out here, my only gripe was the Thursday game started at 4.

    Pretty good hire. If Scott can build a good staff, especially defensively we may be on to something.

    It was an ugly game to be sure. We didn’t knock down open shots at the end when we made a minion run. Matter of fact we didn’t knock down open shots, save the first 5 or 6 minutes of the game. Number 0 for UNLV couldn’t miss in the second half. Funny thing was that with UNLV being the host school we were by far the louder of the two fan bases. Maria had like 4 air balls, it was just an ugly game. With the injuries this is definitely a transition year. But the talent is there.

    Good for CJL and Willie landing in a great spot at FAU. Aside from our game against the Owls I’ll probably pull for them the rest of the season and watch their games barring scheduling conflicts.

    No worries I vaguely remembered you saying you we’re coming out for the games but forgot to dbl check, I ran into Brads favorite, Colin and sat behind Shea’s family today, I’ll save a whiskey for you at BYU in 2021! And don’t worry, I’ll bring the full AVB version from Nevada since those flying in will not be able to find any. Hope you’ve enjoyed your stay in Vegas, even though we’ve been a little closer to freezing than we’re accustomed to the past week... Edit:Agreed in the shots not falling. There were some wide open threes that went in and out as we were making the final run with 2 minutes left even, just not our day.

    Was a tough game after starting off so hot in the first quarter. Sad the ladies couldn’t pull out at least 1 win here in the desert but I appreciate CJF leaving a couple extra tickets for me at will call Thursday and today so I could bring a couple extra friends. Was nice seeing the team love for the first time in a few years.

    Tough loss after getting close in the 3rd before Miss St put it away. Looking forward to watching the ladies one more time at noon Saturday.

    What? I just think his talents would be best served in the PAC-12; perhaps in Oregon or Washington? Has he ever seen the Pacific Ocean? It may just be the one thing he’s spent his whole life searching for.

    That’s all we can ask of any coach in this day and age. Unfortunately there is still a sizeable portion of TBP that is butt hurt over CWT leaving. I don’t expect Scott to stay here much past a few years, if it works out he bolts and if it doesn’t he’s canned. Hopefully he leaves us in better shape than he found us like Taggs.

    Good for Willie and FAU. Those that said he’s never coach again at the FBS level as a HC are still chewing on sour grapes over his departure. Taggs was always going to be a HC next season. Hope we beat them next season because he’s going to be gunning for us and he may have a more talented roster at this point in time than we do tbh.

    I want to say it was a missed block on a kick return in the first half of the UL game in 09 no? Can't imagine it will be on a highlight but it if someone has the recording it may be possible to see. It's also very possible that the missed block what out of the shot all together.

    I’m getting UNLV tickets next season as it’s the closest I’ll be able to afford going to the new stadium. Never really followed them but I guess I will be.

    At least one coordinator is going to get a P5 HC job this year, just wait and see.

    I think it depends on the Board at this point. Former players and fans have been pretty vocal in support of CJL and he and Kelly have a very good relationship. If the board can see past slap gate then I think CJL returns. If not I think we are unfortunately out of the running for the top tier of Coordinators as there are other jobs that will take less work to get to a massive pay day, and even a few P5 Paydays to be had at lower level teams. If not CJL I fear we end up with a coach that does not excite the fan base, whom I’ll support but not much longer than the game in Provo.

    Because while a conference title would be nice to have, and obviously a goal, this program needs some juice and big wins against names will do that. Just look at 05-09(even more so 07 and forward) big wins bring fans, fans bring money and with a new Pres and AD those things could mean better facilities and a higher budget(love Judy for what she did to the cost of my USF degree btw, not sure I’d even get in with today’s standards).
