Glad Coach Leavitt is back in college football and if true they talked 3 schools out of hiring him then they're messing with his life. Thats a long grudge to hold, I feel it's time for them to move on

This kid has so much physical abilene and talent. Wish we pulled him and his Brotherhood out of HS. Haven't followed them since how was he at Auburn? Has he been able to over come the hand thing?

I feel spoiled to have attended USF when I did. Its crazy to think that with the success we had not all that long ago that there is a class about to graduate that never got to go experience a bowl game...

White never signaled for a spike on the last play that I saw. He was initially signaling for a hurry up ... Twirling, for lack of a better word, his hand which may have appeared to some as the spike signal. I may have misinterpreted the hand signals.. it looked like he had his hands going in a sharp downward motion. He very well could have been rolling his arms in a hurry up motion though.

I know White originally was signaling for a spike on the blast play of the game which had me screaming at the tv.

And his record was trending in the wrong direction. It was quite obvious what was happening as the team was in a steady decline while more and more of his players got on the field. I think the dumpster fire after BJ got hurt is what ultimately did him in, it was a total indictment of his recruiting and the future of the team so a change had to be made. My memory isn't real good at this age. Who were the backups at QB to BJ when Leavitt was here? Evan Landi; but considering BJ himself was the back up to Matt Grothe that year not sure why that is relevant. CJL had Brion Carnes locked in that cycle who was the #4 DT QB that year and who knows how he progresses if at USF. Also Carnes was close to getting Ace Sanders to join him here that winter too. Instead CJL gets fired and Holtz pulls Carnes scholly to bring in Gunsby.

I was actually i impressed by Flowers last night. He did better than I expected. Were there some bad throws and a couple bad decisions on who to throw to sure there was. But the kid extended multiple plays where he should have been sacked only to get out of the pocket and get the ball off. He needs to work on his mechanics and reads but so does every other QB on our roster. Much too early to throw in the v towel on him ever being a solid QB here.
