    3-4 > 4-2 4-3 > 4-2 Our defensive scheme sucks for power run teams imo. While we put speed out there, we don't have the strength.

    They were charging the same prices for nosebleeds that i could get for a Bucs game in the lower bowl against the Broncos. They were overpriced. USF used it as a cash cow game and I believe it backfired coupled with the noon start. If a family of 4 wanted to go to one game that is $350 for 300 level seats. RIPOFF! Yea I'm aware of the mini plans, but not all people know about these and just buy single games through ticketmaster or stubhub.

    I want to lean inconsistent and its a motion issue but I'm really bothered by the fact he screws up the most common and easiest throws every single game. Amazing how he can throw a decent deep ball, but god help him if he was to throw a 10 yarder on a regular basis. I think his throwing motion needs correcting and his spirals are atrocious. Maybe he just has small hands? Whatever it is we cannot have a repeat of yesterday because 5 completions is disgusting and absolutely pathetic.

    I never said he was better, I said it would be an open competition before camp even started because of Flowers weaknesses while others scoffed at that and said Flowers was locked in #1. If Woulard didn't beat him out, I'm fine with that and wouldn't make the claim to start him unless Flowers was just straight atrocious for a multiple game stretch, and even then he can't because of injury. I actually think Kean is probably the most talented true QB on the roster tbh.

    Not really a negative Nancy to state the truth... I like Flowers as a player, he is dynamic and makes the offense fun to watch, but he really is a terrible passer. There is nothing wrong with admitting it. Yesterday was the exact reason back in spring ball I said Woulard would have a shot at taking #1 spot if he showed better promise as a passer, yet I caught so much flack. However, i believe he is fine for the competition we face in the AAC outside of possibly Houston. Flowers just isn't a good enough QB to win statement games against big time programs imo. With that said is he good enough to win the AAC? Yes and that's all that matters at this point. /thread

    They didn't have to throw because we offered no resistance to their runs. When they did throw though, they had quite a few drops. It was bad all around. One of worst defenses performances I can recall for a LONG LONG time.

    Corso hasn't been same since that stroke or w/e it was. It's actually painful to watch him most times now.

    I totally forgot we lost Allen. Major dent in this team. He was a good DC.

    We weren't in it because our QB can't throw... FSU is too talented to beat them with our normal offense. We needed to be proficient in run and pass but we couldn't because of Flowers. We were 1 dimensional and they knew it. Fortunately nobody on our schedule the rest of the way is as talented as FSU. Defense was obviously #1 reason we lost but to say your starting QB who only had 4 completions for 59:30 of a game isn't a major reason we sucked is asinine. A competent QB and we win that game even with bad defense. Flowers is a garbage passer. FACT.

    Would've been more USF for a night game. Crowd was fine imo. They might've had more but it was close and like myself many people were rooting for both teams. I had a good time. As for the heat, certainly wasn't as warm as the UF game but I'd say on par with 09 FSU. It was bad but with plenty of water and the clouds it was tolerable.

    Yea when your QB averages 1 completion per quarter, he's never the reason you lose.... There was a collection of reasons we lost and Flowers was 1B while defense was 1A. I enjoy watching him play, but seriously people need to stop making excuses for this kid. He's the only part I see holding this offense back.

    Only upset we lost because I figured defense would do better. Outside of that I didn't think we'd win to begin with and this game was just a cherry on top kinda game. We can still accomplish our main goal this year.

    Hard to stop them when their OL is huge compared your DL. idk the stats on it but they looked a lot bigger and dominated trenches. We had no edge discipline for most of the game because we kept getting dominated in blocking

    Disaster was the defense and flowers passing like usual. People weren't in the stands because of the score and the heat. It was pretty brutal. Team needs to recruit DL better and get some coaching worked out. Team still impressed me enough. We did a lot better score wise than I thought we would (not talking about the 55). This is a good team, but FSU is filled with GREAT players. We should do well in conference play.

    Been saying all along that flowers is good, but he can't win when we need him to rely on passing.

    Do they count that as just each account, or the number of tickets under each account? Just based on those figures plus the student requests, that's nearly 30k already or almost 50% of the stadium that should be in favor of USF.

    The only thing this offense is missing is consistency with Flowers passing. If he ever gets up in the 60% range, were gonna be even more dangerous.
