    Na, there will still be: Duke BC GT Miami Wake Forest Syracuse SMU USF Memphis Tulane I would gladly take the invite to that crew, along with Memphis and Tulane. A solid 10 team conference, just like the good ol' days. Miami and USF rivalry get even stronger after we beat them next year!

    As an independent, you have to basically win every game to win “Something” at the end of a season (pre-bowl) or get people interested. A conference gets the fans more excited about conference games that mean something. Let’s freakin win our conference at least once, before we talk about getting called up.

    Would prefer a weakened ACC over a weakened Big 12 100% of the time.

    Right? In a world where not much makes much sense… the “Atlantic” conference having two Cali teams and zero FL teams makes no sense at all.

    If Miami and fsu leave the ACC, that conference would be foolish to not snap up USF immediately. I think we fit the profile of the remaining schools perfectly. Bring on over Tulane too! Great school in a big market. They’ve never been the same since they left the SEC and need a good conference to flourish again. Just like us.

    This ^^^ … does anyone actually think that Deion is going to still be coaching college football much longer after his sons graduate? His motivation as a coach has always been to ensure Shadeur follows in his financially successful footsteps. I’d actually be willing to bet he makes the jump to NFL coaching or retirement within 4 years.

    Has there ever been a USF squad that has performed this well in the second half of games? Even under CJL, it always felt like our big wins were avoiding snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. We’ve always had depth issues, which usually haunt us in the latter half. CAG is doing something right here. I’ve never seen USF seem to get better as the game progresses.

    winning is way more important than what conference you’re in. Nobody likes rooting for a loser. Look at UCF in 2016. UCF has never played a difficult schedule. Not once.. Now they are going to get a taste and the florida fair weather fan culture is going to rear its ugly head for them. couldn’t be happening to a worse fan base. I’m here for it.
