I agree. I'm just saying that based on Populous' track record, the design is probably going to suck as far as creating a college football atmosphere. So, just be ready for that lol.

Here are some other Populous designs that are different and don't suck as bad.

More examples of Populous designs. none of these scream college football to me. to be fair, i much preferred their soccer stadium designs to their NFL ones.

There's not much from Populous that looks like college football to me. Just a bunch of NFL looking stadiums and a couple remodels on existing stadiums, like Kyle Field. We need something like Duke: Not whatever this monstrosity is (designed by Populous):

I think the important thing that is being lost with the Grier decision "business is business". Is he actually going to make more money playing for UCF? This is the real problem with the future of recruiting for us. If we can't even compete with the tinmen when it comes to NIL, then we are truly ******. -

For sure, it will be nicer than the Yale Bowl, I was more just saying i'd be happy with that too. Anything on-campus will be a better college football atmosphere than the sea of red at Ray Jay. Not sure there will be any extra room around the stadium for retail and restaurants though.

So, back on topic... I'd be stoked if USF built something like a smaller version of the Yale Bowl on campus. Doesn't need to be fancy.
