If these guys have NFL aspirations, then playtime > slightly more NIL (temporary). I think the portal nets a positive result for teams like USF (if we do our job in securing players). It makes players who should be starting somewhere, but are riding the bench behind other 5* players at a place like Alabama seek out a new place where they can be the star.

This is why I would expect GT to go to SEC. 1. They already have history with the SEC 2. SEC would rather get them back than let them go to B1G UVA seems like more of a fit for B1G. Makes more sense geographically and culture-wise.
