    This is a good thing. We need championships, not one big regular season win here and there. This is how UCF got their championships. Playing weak schedules. USF always has a great team with a schedule that's just one notch too hard to win it all. Win championships, get better players, then increase the schedule difficulty (I understand some of it is a crap shoot).

    If he wins conference championships, consistently gets to the playoffs by doing so, we better pay this man whatever he wants to stick around. He seems to get the potential of this program and could really build a legacy here. Once we get an OCS, there really won't be that much of a difference to other programs. The only real advantage bigger football schools will have is an easier time recruiting blue chippers. If we have a path to championships, it will be that much easier to convince all the Bay Area talent to stay home.

    I remember seeing him on the sidelines during our war on i4 game when he was there, thinking that he was the head coach. CAG has head coach energy.

    It's by far the most transformational thing you can do to a campus to bring school pride. I was convinced of it after attending the Auburn game and even that erector set at the school down the road. I'm happy for all the new students that will get to experience that!

    or he'll get exposed as a bad head coach at colorado. what he did at JSU was special, but not guaranteed to be replicated against tougher competition.
