    Kinda a big life decision. Not surprised at all. Being respectful? Would you rather them say "Screw USF, I'm out. Nobody come here."? Being short about a big decision like this pretty much has the same subtext.

    This board is wild. I just went over to CU's forum and they have one, maybe 2 threads, and they are all being reasonable about it. The other top thread is just an on-going Nebraska hate GIF party.

    We have made great hires in the past (we were all excited for Skip and Strong), they just didn't pan out. Who is to say that Deion would have as much success as a HC, if he didn't have a quarterback that he raised from birth? Success is never guaranteed. Would be nice to just have someone again that wouldn't bolt at the first sign of success.

    I agree with these points and hope Deion does too. It's just... 2 million extra clams does buy you a lot more seafood.

    It's been a tough 5 years. Doesn't help that my FiL asks me every week if UCF won their game. It's do or die time.

    Valid point about the quality of life (although that's subjective). Also, isn't Deion from Florida? Not sure money isn't an issue for him though, otherwise why wouldn't he stay at JSU until Shadeur is done?

    There is only one person for USF that has the kind of passion he is talking about. If we swing and miss with Deion, I might be even happier if CJL comes back. His intensity on the sideline used to get us so fired up.
