  1. YEAH! Time to call Auntie Trust and club all them colleges with that Commerce Clause rolling pin until they cry uncle!
  2. Well, this coming up four-game stretch should tell us a lot.
  3. Looks like charlie strong and gilbert may have agreed with you. seems like shaun king really wanted him here. USF made another push for Penix that might have worked if Taggart never left. King said he “was fighting an uphill battle in the building” because Penix is left-handed — a fact that makes some coaches rethink play designs and blocking assignments. The Bulls’ visit included King (then the running backs coach) and head coach Charlie Strong but not offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Sterlin Gilbert. The Hoosiers, however, didn’t just bring coach Tom Allen and quarterbacks coach Nick Sheridan. They brought everyone else, too How did FSU, USF and Florida let Tampa’s Michael Penix Jr. get away? WWW.TAMPABAY.COM The state’s programs whiffed three different times on Washington’s star quarterback. Saw MP play in high school vs Jefferson when Casey Weldon's son was playing QB for the Dragons and was probably a bigger recruiting name. MP shone but, to be honest, I didn't foresee what was coming. He has been nothing short of amazing this season. Congrats to one who has done Pasco proud.
  4. Superstitious fear of "sinister" QBs has cost us before.
  5. Sunbelt? Metro? I think I saw this guy at the game.
  6. Was a foregone conclusion set up by a corrupt and broken system. I don't blame any of the opt outs. Even Kirby was smart enough to figure it out. si.com WWW.SI.COM
  7. I was at that one back in the day when I lived in Otown.
  8. After watching the spring game, I think some of the 2009 team may not now be in top playing shape...
  9. We love that one up here in Hickory... BTW, wouldn't mind having a player like this local kid: Eli Ellis | OTE OVERTIMEELITE.COM Eli Ellis is a 6'1” guard from Hickory, NC. He currently plays for the YNG Dreamerz.
  10. It was awesome. Great times... I hate all systems, especially those that carry a veneer of "logic" and "impartiality."
  11. As of now, legal is in the eye of the beholder and varies from state to state.
  12. I think, if you measure, the height of the rims will be 10 feet and the distance to the free throw line will be 15 feet. I don't mind the Bulls playing in high school gyms, I just don't want to lose to high school teams.
  13. I'm all about the dream, but I think even Vladimir has taken the under on that. "We have freedom,'' Golesh's father said. "We all have a beautiful life. God bless America. And Go Bulls!'' -- Vladimir Golesh
  14. Unless it's a playoff game, really can't agree with that all .......... now more than ever. A lot of time in bowls the teams are in two totally different "places", with ours being a perfect example, and the results usually show that. In this new world of college football, in a lot of cases, coaches will more and more embrace the exhibition aspect of the bowl game to try and evaluate players to replace the ones leaving. Exactly, e.g., our bowl experience with a mid-level ACC team vs. SMU's.
  15. That would be cool. My favorite pro football league! If only they could get in.
  16. Whoever thought unc and Uva have more value to b1g or sec over FSU should lose their twitter sports expert credentials. Maybe FSU should just move on to the XFL/USFL.
  17. While bowl games are not meaningless to the players playing or (usually) their fans, in the modern climate, most if not all of the games bear no relevance to how good the team was in the regular season or how good they may be in the coming year. So I watch solely for entertainment and don't get too caught up in who beats who. That said, I did enjoy the back-to-back outcome of games from Boca and Tampa.
  18. Just need to keep chanting that mantra to the B1G: "We're AAU! We're AAU!"
  19. He did however he kinda reminds of a player that will make some incredible highlights but follows them up with stupid decisions. He gives me that Jameis vibe, never really got any better, just kept doing the same stupid ****, always thinking he could pull a rabbit out of the hat. Kind of seems like a recent tradition. Every bowl game I watch has a former USF QB playing. Right now watching Jordan McCloud in Military Bowl. He goes from looking magnificent to awful in alternate plays.
  20. Ironic also that Timmy McClain INT closed the deal for Georgia Tech. Here's hoping we get into the passing lane, downshift and floor it going forward.
  21. I gotta say, for a program that looked like it was dead and buried, any proof of life is welcome. Perhaps CAG has pull the greatest turnaround since Lazarus.
  22. OK, so finally I understand my teenage daughter.
