wow, people need to chill out...the uniforms could use improving...if you dont care, then dont worry about it..there are plenty of other topics green logo need to be on helmets...i like bright gold helmets, though. if those are wrong we should change the school's gold color. bright looks better...UCF looks TERRIBLE.

nearly every team plays 1-AA. since you have to play 12 games now (plus conference championship in some places) it makes sense to play a 1-AA. also, we do not compete for national championships yet, so it makes more sense to rack up wins. at the end of a season no one cares that you played 1 1-AA team if you are undefeated.

well, in fairness, we may never know for sure. which is fine by me, grothe is the best QB ive seen start for USF since ive been here (I believe i got here a year after blackwell left). CHill had all off-season to get better and was named the starter way early over julmiste. maybe leavitt made a mistake there, but he didnt appoint grothe the starter over julmiste until julmiste was injured and grothe saved our game. may never know, but still cant know for sure.

oh, and possibly beat just 1 and win tie breaker with the one that beat us losing 2 others. not that out of the question. maybe not this year, but you get the point...big east games are most important. wins are more important than who you play OOC because you move past all the teams that lose in rankings.

easy schedule is better anyway for now. if we beat both WVU and Lousville one year, we are garanteed BCS bowl and press...need to be ranked high by not scheduling other teams to beat us.

with brohm out for several weeks, he has a chance to be big east all-american. palco is only guy that can compete now I would think.

ouch. i agree, unless they improve along with us.

there were also a lot of UCF fans near my seat, which to me indicates those tickets that we had to give back before we ordered the 500 and 750. people went, and we had a great away crowd that reminded me of WVU at RJS last year, but we need to get better at this selling and distributing and not using ticket master. obviously, this is a learning process. it was still a good idea to sell cheap tickets to promote game, hopefully it will be repeated and improved for other florida away games in the future, and maybe some other away games and some bowl games.

green pants would have looked better to me...i was sad when i first saw the uniforms...but, i'm willing to concede the looks for cooler players, if that really helps that much. november pitt game cant be that hot...it cools down before halloween. gotta go green on green. anyway, good job everyone wearing green in the stands.

geez, miamie already has to play FSU and va tech every year, and its not like the other ACC teams are easy. arent they also considering the UF thing again too? would give louisville a bit time game every year for pub though...

Spires coming back is good news for next year when we will lose 2 of our top 3 LBs. but 2 more WRs? unbelievable. we could trade half of our WRs for 1 quality RB and be so much better...but hey, keep bringin em in. carlton hill at WR is interesting...he didnt get a chance to pass much last year...would have loved to see him try, but perhaps we are better off with Grothe there afterall.

we don't have a rival yet...we want one with Louisville and/or West Virgnia and/or big 3. i could go either way on this issue, but it seems that if we scheduled an auburn team (like next year) and managaed to beat them, that would mean something. beating UCF every year wouldn't mean anything, and losing to them would hurt and give the appearance we are not surpassing them, which of course is our aim. that being said, if UCF can go undefeated from here on out and prove they are worth playing and will stick around for awhile, then it would make A LOT of sense to continue the series. they are getting a new stadium, we have the "best" NFL stadium...they both will sell out every year if we continue to play them. having an in-state rivalry, one of the closest geographically in the nation (someone please tell me some closer ones...NC state/UNC/Duke i guess), would be GREAT if UCF keeps improving as well. they are starting this moffet guy that reminds me of pat julmiste and banks. they need improvement there, whereas we should improve for the next 3 years.

in all fairness, he hasnt gotten many punts off yet (not all his fault), and how many punts were inside the 20, because that can throw off an average.

UCF's backup almost rushed for 100 yards. 58 more yards between 3rd RB and QB. I'm worried.

weird, i thought sharp was already the starter according to an Oracle article at the start of the year. with our defensive performance last week against the run, the 2 kansas RBs make me nervous. hopefully our DL guys are healthier this week, with what they called "horrible groins"

assuming PSU loses to OSU this weekend (strong possibility), then all miami needs to do is win 1 game to get back in. we are 39th, so kansas win gets us votes (37th got votes this week, teams will lose).

Another editorial that criticizes not having a cap, using all student's money to help mostly the greeks who seemed to be well informed when I personally heard nothing about it until I read about it on this board the day of, and also warns that we should not be giving out our UID # to people. On a good note regarding the whole ticket issue, SG's director of Student Life and Development wrote a letter to editor about how next time there will be a limit. I'm curious if they will still require the UID numbers.
