  1. Unreal. I'm looking forward to next year. This team looks like they are, too. They seem disorganized and fragmented.
  2. Nice. I wasn't able to set up the DVR for the Houston game (too far in advance) and will be travelling back from Colorado when it is being played. If someone could be bothered enough to put that one on YouTube, I would be grateful. I don't like to miss our victories!
  3. Getting under my desk with my arm over my head waiting for the air raid bombs...
  4. I remember one year when we beat central and dropped from #17 to 19, IIRC.
  5. I had club seats in the lower bowl. I am disabled (I'm thinking my cane would have tipped them off) and all those stairs are killers. I was refused the use of the elevator on a couple of occasions to get to the club from between the first and second bowl. In my worklife, I was the ADA coordinator for my organization. It was only my love for USF that prevented me from having them add substantially to my retirement account. Sometimes policy gets in the way of common sense.
  6. from the past few posts I would swear my wife has hijacked puc's account...is that you, Judy???
  7. news flash, Ambien can affect one's reading comprehension. I thought that we were talking about P5 victories. At least I don't tweet on Ambien...
  8. puc, help me understand this. Do you mean that no matter how good the G5 team is that we beat, it will be discounted as a fluke, the G5 team was at a historic low, or some such?
  9. Bry, back then the BE was considered the lowest of the major conferences (moniker - Big Least), but was grudgingly afforded some respect due to the three teams doing so well. The teams selected were also good in MBB, IIRC. So, we were in the "club" and accepting our progress wasn't letting an outsider in. We are no longer "in the club" and breaking into the P5 will not be earned but gifted in the minds of P5. A conference championship should rightly be our next goal. But, as I have said before, our key to advancement is more likely beating quality P5 teams. A conference championship of a disrespected conference is just a disrespected championship. Beating WVA, FSU, ND, Miami, etc. did more for us than a BE title would have done. Teams saw that and are loath to schedule us now. I want us to earn a spot at the grownup's table. Not count on another team's success to "lift our boat".
  10. Yeah, I doubt that we will put up as many points as is predicted. We will take it easy toward the end to conserve our first string for the challenges ahead.
  11. USF 24-10 Cronkrite McCants 495 I'll be trying to find how to watch it while visiting family in Wichita, KS.
  12. I've never been comfortable (or proud) relying on others for my success. It's as embarrassing as going to another team's BB to thank them for beating a team that beat us. Have some pride and confidence. Don't rely on central to somehow secure a Pee5 berth for us. We need to do that ourselves and central can go pound sand. I hope they lose everything they ever compete for and we win everything we compete for. Actually, I don't know why Bulls fans are so obsessed with central.
  13. Looks like it. With a four yard pass reception. Great to see.
  14. And we can have rings made for the achievement!
  15. last year THE RANKINGS: Four Pac-12 teams are ranked in the AP poll, three in the Coaches poll. WASHINGTON (9/11), STANFORD (10/9), USC (17/12) and OREGON (23/nr) ... WASHINGTON has now appeared in the AP Top 25 for 34 consecutive ranking periods ... UTAH is the top team among others receiving votes in the AP poll, while Oregon is just outside the Top 25 in the Coaches poll. https://pac-12.com/article/2018/09/04/four-pac-12-football-teams-ranked-top-25-matchup-opens-conference-play oops, misread your post. Thought you meant in the same conference. My mistake.
