  1. I heard it’s not actually his birth name but that he had it legally changed just to show his commitment to being a ****
  2. It was either the internet, an elementary school poster or some book a former ceo made us read on the ELT ( it could have been all three there is a lot of overlap).
  3. I don’t mind depending on his vigorish
  4. I wonder if we still have the free speech zone in front of Cooper Hall where people stood out in front of and yelled inflammatory things at everyone that walked past or if we have converted them to safe spaces. Sadly with no OCS the word may never know.
  5. **** and it’s glows in the dark, two of those may have been a better use of a dollar. Plus it glows in the dark which is an awesome value add.
  6. Not on college campuses, that’s an America free zone. Just trying to label people as American is probably hate speach and doesn’t account for how they identify in a world that should be without borders. Seems high.
  7. It was $.25 for those 30 years ago I would be shocked if you can get one for a dollar now.
  8. Only that we don’t have plans for what to do when we get to number 2 in the nation which is a lot better than his plan of never getting close to it.
  9. But the SJW’s would cry and we all know what a big portion of the football fanbase they make up.
  10. When you consider at one point this season his seat was the third coolest that’s quite the fall, also the algorithm doesn’t account for things like actual fan displeasure, postings calling for the firing or idiotic messaging coming from the coach that alienates his team and fanbase.
  11. He tries to win he just has spent most of his life not being able to do it. There is always that hope that if Charlie ever started playing to win that it may happen at some point.
  12. “Everybody is a genius. But, if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will spend its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
  13. Could you imagine coaching against a team that lost there all star qb ( that was completely unheralded coming out of hs). Then getting dashed by a walk on rb and a freshman qb that’s played in one game (also not known to be above average) and then coming to the podium and saying the issue is a talent gap? I’m just dumbfounded. I thought I didn’t get as angry anymore but this **** is nonsense.
  14. And he had to give up play calling for his own team, maybe that’s improvement over our current regime but we need to do better.
  15. Trying to get him that first bowl game victory that has alluded him thus far in his coaching career?
  16. It’s unfortunate. We always joked about the arena formerly known as the sun dome being on an Indian burial ground, maybe the whole athletics program is just cursed as the ball just never seems to bounce our way when it matters.
  17. I asked him how quickly he planned on trying to get his old job back and I got an out of office that I felt was the perfect response.
  18. I liked Charlie Strong. I thought he was a good hire and was only the second coach I liked from the beginning. I came to a conclusion at some point that he wasn’t as great as I hoped but he was a nice guy, a bargain and the odds of us getting someone better that wouldn’t bolt immediately wasn’t that strong so maybe we retool some coordinators and things will be okay for a while. The press conferences this week and the playcalling yesterday has completely lost me. If the playcalling wasn’t exactly what he wanted and appreciated it would have changed on some of the crucial plays but as evidenced by his press conference he thinks that’s the right direction and it’s the player’s fault that they aren’t a Big Ten O-line. His responses to competing against UCF and how he views his players and our university are horribly telling and I don’t see how any player, fan or administrator can stand with him anymore. He managed to alienate everyone in every way possible in a week. I was wrong about CCS and many of you were right, we need to mitigate our losses and move on.
  19. I’m sure tens of people have clicked on it.
  20. But imagine if we were even faster to the log jam in the middle of the field, Idk about you but every time I see Ford running thru the tackles he reminds me of a slower Jerome Bettis. Too bad you can’t teach speed.
