  1. As opposed to other forms of mayo drenched lobster? We have no choice for it is written in the stars that this is our lot in life.
  2. I laughed out loud but mostly to stop from crying, USF is going to USF I don’t know why we got suckered into believing we actually held the cards for the first time ever in life. Eventually our spirits will completely break and we can’t be tortured any more, we have to give up that last glimmer of hope but it’s oh so hard.
  3. NAS claims to be a USF fan it’s just hard to garner that from any of his postings or opinions on the program.
  4. You may as well start typing That CCS wants money and a new coach will want money too and we don’t have a lot of that.
  5. Exactly. We aren’t in a conference we are in purgatory awaiting our ultimate fate at final judgment.
  6. What’s a million something dollars amoungst friends?
  7. No one cares about the AAC, no one. Every singe team is doing anything and everything to get out of it, we could have had a conference meeting in the lobby of the American Idol Big 12 addition. People can say all they want about P6 and liking the conference but deep down everyone knows the only way to win in the AAC is to get a ticket out of it.
  8. Maybe we were hardline negotiators and it’s only for 80% of the remaining salary, I’m just kidding you know we are on the hook for the full thing.
  9. Yep. Since it was one of the strongest arguments for earlier than typical action it makes you wonder why someone with knowledge didn’t come forward with it before it grew into a frenzy. It’s kind of hard to put the genie back into the bottle.
  10. No one likes accepting things are beyond their control.
  11. When you recognize that the buyout is for actual money and not the jam of the month club we were led to believe and that we are now in the AAC which means we have none of that money stuff, you are left with little choice but to accept that which we cannot control.
  12. **** now I’m starting to think investigating his role (and others like him) in our programs failures would be a fruitless waste of time and may just be buzzword lip service that will amount to no change.
  13. Did you get the impression he was holding back the program?
  14. I am not implying it, I am unequivocally stating it.
  15. Wwwwwwweeeeeellllllllllll when you think about it, it means absolutely nothing to anyone outside of the state. Also nothing to anyone not associated to a public school in the state, nothing to anyone associated to a public school not close to the metrics, nothing to UF or FSU who just call it everyday life for their history and probably don’t recognize it was named and has actual metrics and not a whole lot to anyone that’s moved on from USF until public perception aligns with preeminence. It’s extremely important and hopefully translates to great things for our university but most people have little reason to care about it and it’s hardly an indictment on our species that they don’t.
  16. I’m glad you said it before someone actually said it and meant it, it kind of takes away the sting. I wonder how long the winning streak would have to grow before they would finally wake up and recognize “oh **** this isn’t good for us at all.”
  17. It feels like only yesterday we were on top of the world and it felt like the sky was the limit.
  18. I think preeminent is more important but I think 99.9% of people have no idea what it is and know more about the football program.
  19. But lying should lead to firing, if we hire GOL we wouldn’t have to lie. I mean sure a kid would have to die but clearly lying is worse than that.
  20. It’s been pretty rough I can’t imagine what it will be like if we miss this next and possibly last round of expansion while others get in.
  21. Hahahaha my stupid phone doesn’t recognize the Big East which is one more reason it needs an apologist to go along with those that try to claim it was comparable to the current AAC.
  22. I can probably be called a CJL apologist, a USF apologists and a Big Easy apologist but I would hardly call myself a CCS apologist. I don’t know that I buy that marijuana is inherently good for people or that if CCS enforces a drug policy that makes him an inherently bad coach, I feel there are better reasons to go after him but this seems to be the one you fixate on which I find strange.
