  1. We are going to revolutionize the business world, entrepreneur- a person who organizes and operates a business or businesses, taking on greater than normal financial risks in order to do so. People that took risks were so dumb when all they had to do was have the customer take on that burden in order to enrich them.
  2. Maybe we are going with an Onlyfans business model? I remember vividly the CEO of ValueJet saying "as soon as people start paying higher fares and filling our flights we intend to use that money to invest in no longer flying into the Everglades", I think they folded the next week. If there was something this group of people knew would lead to greater success they would be using the ~$20 million dollar runway they have from student fees to start heading that direction and organically gain fans and donations. Unfortunately the money cannot be used to by another athletic program so I have my doubts that any additional dollars would actually lead to any tangible results. If someone gave $50 million dollars tomorrow what specific thing would the money be spent on that would lead to guaranteed results? If there is such a thing then great use your current $50 million dollar budget and get started because at our current return on investment it would take a draw dropping $750 million dollars a year to get to undefeated and even Texas would find that expense absurd. You are the VP of Athletics for a football team coming of a 1 win season that just followed a 4 win season, you really ought to be happy anyone is still giving you anything and not chastening the people that you hope to court as customers. Give them a reason to want to invest, do your job.
  3. But why do they identify as being stand alone items as well as riders on almost every other package?
  4. It happens time after time at some point in life the picture is going to fade and the darkness has turned to grey.
  5. The times they are a changing, everyone is having trouble capturing the younger market share for watching sports, it doesn’t help if you squander the time you have them as a captive audience already forced to pay to attend your events
  6. Old people like sports more, young people need to be given a reason to care
  7. Fair enough but I think the Venn diagram of those in the fans without youthful memories of a team and recent multi millionaire Usf graduates creates a rather narrow union for us to target, however as the eternal optimist that can be a positive as it’s fairly easy to identify and target those individuals (even if I think it would be easier to be able to take a machine gun approach).
  8. I just think in order for them to make a donation they would have to have to know that we actually have athletics, have attended a game and also had a positive experience that left memories they would like to perpetuate. I put the odds on that as slim to none as the attendance and memories have been left lacking.
  9. What do you put the odds at that they have any connection to the athletics programs that went largely ignored while they were in school?
  10. I still contend there are ways that we can capitalize on this given some of our lower contract values while being in a fairly large market. Want to go to a school where you can have your own shoe deal, soda, sports drink or any other thing athletes typically get their big sponsorship dollars from? Florida, FSU and Miami aren’t giving up those sponsorship dollars any time soon but thanks to our low valuation it probably makes sense for us (or at least it’s worth exploring).
  11. You can’t make USF great again when we are being driven by a college football globalist
  12. Probably pretty close to none of it, one cannot be both completely disengaged from the program and a micromanager of the part of the team you have the least amount of interest in.
  13. Fan fiction has become a legitimate genre appreciate the creative license and the times when life ends up imitating the art
  14. Histrionics is the foundation of the internet, no one tunes in to have calm reasonable discussions that find commonality we are here for the table flipping and the end is nigh fights.
  15. Gregory’s investigation isn’t scheduled to be completed until March 31, 2023…
  16. I’m pretty sure that’s not a real place
  17. If we get the contract you are hired, one of the keys to frivolous expenditures is overhead the other would be of course that our service will never actually uncover anything more than other services we will need to provide. Also we will need to host regular town halls on Thebullspen.com which of course would require exorbitant fees as you need to find a way to pay for anything that could conceivably be free. Everyone knows that the more you pay for something the obviously better that it is. Also we will only hire with guaranteed contracts which we will of course will term regularly as you can’t expect to hire the best people to fire if you expect anything in return for their pay.
  18. Good for them I guess, I’m going to see if I can get the university to pay me in order to assure the sun rises in the east every morning and perform a feasibility study on building a university in Temple Terrace in 1956.
  19. So we had a long drawn out investigation in order to come to the same resolution as the contract naturally expiring? How very USF of us.
  20. Since more people are buying tickets to see the Gators, announced attendance will be higher but if we get waxed by them actual attendance will give Joey such a hard on that he may request to be transferred back to our beat.
  21. Which is a much better shot then we had at any point this season or at any point in the programs history. A 31-29 aac team is competing with the #2 in the entire nation 46-15 B12 team and had it tied late in the game to win a super regional having already won our conference championship and advanced in the NCAA tournament, if that’s losing I will take some of that every season, in every sport.
