  1. The tickets are yours. My number is (210) 906-0537. Not sure how you transfer them, however I’ll figure it out.
  2. Yep... ASU is AAA LA IMO. Tempe/Scottsdale is a single man's heaven - especially if you have a little bit of coin in your pocket. ASU grooms them girls for four years and guys like #smazza bring them to the big leagues in Los Angeles for some very meaningful relationships until they turn 30 (and then he trades them in for another 22-year old fresh out of Tempe/Scottsdale).
  3. I have four tickets to tomorrow's game in the end zone - about five rows back. If you're a USF fan, you can have them for free. First come first serve. If you attempt to sell them, I will NEVER give you tickets again. Bulls need to take care of other Bulls when possible. Thanks...
  4. Looks great for the future athletes. Where will the tailgating happen? Where are the parking facilities? Trying to look at this big picture wise. Facilities look tremendous... but how far will an 80-year old Brad Meyer have to walk to get to a football game after consuming lots of alcohol? How many co-eds will he run into on his way to the stadium? We need to quantify these items for the people throwing money to the university.
  5. Where is Al Sharpton when you need him protesting this shooting of an innocent man? Oh wait, doesn't fit the narrative. In reality, if I was a family member for the Alabama RB that got shot out of the blue the other night, I would make it my personal mission to mow down every one of those thugs that associate with the shooters involved in the car jacking the other day. If Mayor Bowser won't make the DC streets safer (and it wasn't even night time), I would take matters into my own hands. Terrible that a young man minding his own business can't even get food for dinner in a big city without taking a bullet(s).
  6. You'll be hard pressed to see a 1,000 yard receiver at USF with our schemes and game speed. A receiver with that type of prowess is going to end up in a pro-style offense at a P5 school as they are typically five star recruits (he'll be that 6'4" possession receiver). It would be awesome to have someone with that skill level play at USF, we just haven't had it. Imagine Scott McCready hands with a Huey Whittaker body and DeAndrew Rubin route running. We've had some recent guys with some very good hands... however finding that total package would put that receiver in the Biletnikoff Award conversation immediately.
  7. One advantage that will be in our favor... a miserable 4 PM start time. It's going to be hot and humid - and if we avoid the mid-afternoon rain, the pre-game warmups at 2:30 PM will have an effect on BYU's players come 7 PM when the fourth quarter is rolling around.
  8. My two cents... If BYU is as good as the write up on page 1 of this thread, it should be another terrible home opener for us. However my gut says we're not as bad as we have been and they're not as overpowering as they were last year. We will finally score a TD or two in a home opener (and I won't be there to see it - ugh!). Oddsmakers are guessing at best... so I'll flip their script and will say BYU will probably walk away with a three TD victory against us. GB can only carry a team so far with as many holes as we have demonstrated. Hoping for the best, however I believe Scott Frost has a better chance of turning around Nebraska this season and getting them to 10 wins than us getting things turned around and getting to six wins. Hoping I'm wrong - but my old age has made me more prudent.
  9. @Brad Thanks again for the season ticket link in the other thread. I was able to use it again yesterday. Hopefully it helps the website out in some shape or fashion.
  10. I don't sell my seats honestly. Too much hassle. I'd rather give them away to USF people. I have a couple guys working for me in Lakeland now. Hopefully they'll want to go to a few games as I'm good for one a season - maybe two if my wife extends me certain liberties (with four kids, nothing is guaranteed).
  11. About to buy two more season tickets as I'm bringing both daughters to the BYU game. Hopefully there's still a seat or two where my other seats are located that I picked up a few weeks back.
  12. Let's be serious... Blackwell had it easy. He got to throw to me every practice and then I let DeAndrew take my spot in the games. It doesn't get any better than that.
  13. Text me your information when you have a free minute. My number is 210-906-0537.
  14. Thanks for posting the link Brad. I just picked up two season tickets in the end zone just now (it's been awhile). Hoping to make at least two home games this year, however if not, I'll pass the tickets to some of my colleagues in Lakeland working for me at our warehouse there. My seats will be filled.
  15. Tell me who are starting QB is? Is it Timmy? Is it a transfer having to learn a new offense? The transfer hasn't even been declared the starting QB. I played sparingly at this level. However I remember it being extremely difficult to adjust from one system to another system over the course of a few months. We have NO proven QB. Baylor had a proven QB. However we are NOT Baylor presently. We're going to take our lumps. How soon we forget about all of the transfers that never materialized over the years... especially with such a short turnaround.
  16. I voted pessimistic. We've been placing band aids on bullets holes these last four years. We've been hiring different experienced coaches hoping they are the magic fix, however either we lack the talent or intelligence to implement their game plans. We have no proven QB. Without a proven QB, you don't win playing college football. We'll win more than one game this season, however expecting to be competitive against non-AAC competition is suspect at best. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised attending a game or two, however I'm being realistic about the state of the program.
  17. Well deserved IMO. Shane has been filthy this season. Kershaw, well, has been Kershaw.
  18. Shane is legit. The UNC start made me a believer years ago. Nice to see another Bulls player have so much success. Will the Rays pay him though is the question... My boy Soto (in a down year at that), is looking at $425M for 13 years.
  19. I'd be curious to see if they can really save $15M finishing a year early. Construction costs are moving in the opposite direction finally. I would believe slow rolling the stadium build out would be cheaper than rushing into it presently. Just my two cents.
  20. Imagine if UCF took this line of thinking years ago. IMO, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
  21. Agreed Dave. Smazza and I have way different political leanings, however when we see each other every five or so years, it's just like yesterday. Family first... politics second. It is fun to poke the bear... and you get really good at it spending so much time at sea on a submarine.
  22. Wonder what could have been if she was healthy down the stretch. Hope Ken can pull an ace out of his sleeve with the portal... and get some bats while he's at it. Congrats G. Corrick!
  23. I've seen half of them in person - I would say there's a lot of truth to what Steve is stating.
