  1. Skippy Skipperton We lose in different ways Please coach Bulls no more
  2. Not even so much ability as just simple awareness...3min left, you have the lead and your opponet has 3 TO's play 'em tight! Not zone deep! All staff should go but no excuse to not fire Cosh at this point Exactly. Soft zone every time the game is on the line. But hey, at least Cosh was rushing 4 this time instead of just 3. Defense 101: when your opponent needs to go 75 yards in a hurry, don't give them the time to do it. We have some reallly good proven blitzers in the defensive backfield. Lejiste used to make big plays when he was brought in on blitzes. Jenkins, Joyce and Cliett are potential speedy pash rushers. Is it that our corner opposite Webster is just not good enough to leave in man coverage? All you had to do was watch what Louisville did to us when we had the ball at the end of the game. Blitz, and play tight coverage. It is VERY obvious to anyone with two eyes how to stop our passing game.
  3. 82.2% That is the completion percentage against the defense the last 2 games Temple 16/20 = 80% L'Ville 21/25 = 84% It is a simple miracle that we have even been close in these games. I am really curious as to the breakdown (grid format) of where these completions were made. My guess would be that the majority of them are in the 15-20 yard range in the middle of the field.
  4. Skip has completely lost this team. I believe this team has absolutely no belief in this coaching staff, and therefore, just has no passion or intensity. If this university wants the athletics to be taken seriously, they need to FIND A WAY to get rid of this staff. I'm not a huge fan of mid season firings, but something has to be done by the end of the season at the latest.
  5. Sent a message to Bill McGillis respectfully asking why Skip was given a contract extension after last season. He's responded to me before, we'll see if I get anything this time.
  6. In general, I agree with the sentiment here that Skip is full of nothing but cliches and coachspeak at this point. However, I will agree with the fact that from day one of this program, the team has played up or down to its level of competition on the field. We all know about the big wins, but how many bad losses or, just squeaked by wins have we had when we should have dominated an opponent. When was the last time we hung 60+ points on someone? Was it all the way back to the UCF game? This team does not seem to be able to simply go out and play its own game. I guess that is a common thread, unfortunate as it is, between both coaches of this team (let's not talk about undiciplined penalties right now).
  7. Bulletin board ranting is one thing, but to see all of our gripes put in print starts to validate the feelings here. Media pressure will light the fire on the hot seat a lot more than this board will be able to do.
  8. The lack of urgency and anger on this team is flat out disturbing. I haven't seen anyone get angry, get in someone's face...ANYTHING!!! I have had season tickets every season of this team's existence. I am on the fence as to if I should renew my tickets next year. I am so terribly disgusted by this entire football program right now, top to bottom. I work too hard during the week to have my weekends and money wasted on this garbage that we have seen over the past 2 seasons. I have one foot off of the ledge and I am almost past the point of no return.
  9. Under Armor has to love the product placement in that picture. I see it in at least 6 spots.
  10. Just heard back directly from an ESPN publicist who said that the game is a 6 day pick. Neither time nor network has been decided yet.
  11. IMO, ND made this move to ensure their relevancy and nearly ensure themselves a top 15 ranking every year. Just look at it this way. ND stays "independent" by playing 5 mediocre ACC teams every year and then scheduling the service institutions every year. That is a guaranteed 8 winnable games to start with every single year. You add in the Mich/MSU/USC rotation of games and they continue to be a top 15 team every year. ESPN will continue to pump the ACC as a major conference and give way to much credibility to their weak teams. So, ND keeps themselves relevant and respectable to the ESPN frenzied country. Sounds like a no brainer to me. Unfortunately if we do not move to the B12 we may be relegated to being
  12. I am in 237 and while taking a while to connect, finally made it. Was able to use it throughout the game.
  13. In ESPN's eyes Big East = NHL We will hardly garner a mention unless we have a top 25 team and they are "forced" to show a highlight or two. I am praying that NBC will takes us away from all of this.
  14. Brad, thanks for providing us with such a great forum to express our excitement, anger, hopes, and disappointments. I've been around from almost day one on this board. Such a great, self policing community of amazing Bulls fans. Looking forward to an amazing and exciting 2012/2013 sports year.
  15. Just went at lunch time. Completely mobbed still. The line to checkout nearly filled the entire store. Was in there for only 5 minutes or so because you could not get thru the lines to see the merchandise.
  16. Godfrey departed with bad feelings. His father, Jeff Godfrey Sr., and the quarterback’s mentor, Luther Campbell, claimed O’Leary was racist and Godfrey stayed home in Miami during the spring. Luther Campbell....mentor....really
  17. Anyone notice the tons of empty seats in one of the end zones? How can you not sell out a conf championship game at your own stadium?
  18. this cursor is the coolest of all things that are cool it rules!! it rules!!
  19. .........duke is duke. they're on tv more than leave it to beaver reruns.........
  20. I could easily see our WVU or L'Ville games being moved to a noon time slot to be the BE Game of the Week.
