  1. The natives are already restless at LaTech. Hahahahaha~! http://www.latechbbb.com/forum/showthread.php?122774-Fire-Holtz&s=8dddfd291b2df9ad42d3c613d1b7dd49
  2. After the high flying team they were used to, those poor LaTach fans aren't gonna know what hit them. They are about to be Kragholtzed!
  3. southern miss has lost 15 in a row....so there's that
  4. Joe - i know you've taken a lot of crap on other threads. I wasn't picking at you so much as I was curious as to why that sticks in your craw so much. Fair enough explanation.
  5. 100% agree. We will be back. This crap makes me want to puke, but we will get better.
  6. Joe - we all get that the first game was unacceptable all around. But why do you have such a ***** for killing the coaches over that game. Several FBS teams lost to FCS opponents this year. We aren't the only ones. And our talent level has proven out the ineptitude of the previous staff. Is there someone else you would have preferred as HC? Why so much hate for the coaches?
  7. Fact is that the prior staff couldn't recruit in FLORIDA....FLORIDA. He'll, my mom could field a decent team is she recruited only in Florida. I am just beyond stunned. Even after 4 weeks. I saw a ton of effort out there today, but physically we just aren't there anymore.
  8. Only untouchable redshirt this year should be White. All bets are off this year simply play the best talent this year.
  9. Please, please, someone tell me that you can see that Skip left this team virtually void of talent. I saw plenty of effort on the field today but we simply looked like a high school team out there today. The size difference on the O line is clearly visible. Our receivers are lackluster at best an our DBs are slow and horribly weak tacklers. Our current coaches are doing the best they can't with the lack of talent they are working with. It is truly disheartening to see how much of a mess the prior staff left behind. I will continue to support this staff, but it is going to be a tough uphill climb for the next few years. Thanks Skip! GO BULLS!
  10. Of course Taggart can do no wrong for you. This game was called pitifully. Get a clue. The game was NOT called pitifully. The truth is that we have NO TALENT on this team and we will suffer the slow curse of Skippy for the next few years until Taggert gets his type of players in this system. The plays are there, the PLAYERS are not.
  11. Look, bottom line is that Holtz is a bottom feeder of a high school coach that has done nothing but get by on his last name and some sheer good fortune thru the years. He left this program in complete disarray. Taggart came in here and had to scramble to get some sort of recruiting class together. He is working his offense and system into a group of lifeless players who do not fit his mold . The square peg will be rammed into the round hole for the next couple of years until Taggart gets his style of players in here. I think our DC will change sooner than later (not a mid season move) as Taggart realizes that our D will have to carry us thru until the offense catches up. Truth of the matter is that ALL good programs have had down years and unfortunately this is our time. Oklahoma has been down, Bama has been down, UF, FSU and Michigan have been down. We will get this turned around. Those of us who have been on this board for more than a few years realize this. We are not part of the younger generation who cry and moan whenever they do not see some sort of instant gratification. We may be 0-12 this year, but we will get better. We will have better days in front of us. I do believe in Coach Taggart, but I am truly floored at what destruction old Coach Skippy left behind. Hang in there Bulls, hang in there.
  12. Agreed. Funny how programs used to want to use US as a model not too long ago. Get back to the trailer mentality, and put this bus on the right course.
  13. when does our contract with UA run out? Looks like we'll be wearing Keds when its time to re-up the uni contract at this rate...
  14. off to Detroit in 3 hours. can't wait to get there. hoping for some good representation on our plane.
  15. Agreed. I think CWT gave Floyd the chance to fix his game going into the 2nd half, and he choked on it like a dog on a piece of rawhide. Probably done for this year, feel bad for him that it all went down the drain in one half of football.
  16. Just heard on the broadcast that the DC for McNeese was CWT's DC last year at WKU. Anyone remember how a certain John Gruden knew EXACTLY what the Raiders were running when they lost to the Bucs in the Super Bowl? Look, I know this is not the reason we lost the game, but is does stand to reason that McNeese had a good understanding of the offensive tendencies of CWT and played to those strengths tonight.
  17. After Shaw's touchdown run Graber comes up with this gem "this is the west coast offense" WHAT??? It was the first **** play - a straight handoff from the I formation for God's sake! How was this guy ever a football coach, let alone an announcer?
  18. turn on the replay on ESPN3 and freakin' DOUG GRABER is the color analyst on the game... NNNNNNNOOOOOOO!!!!!!
  19. Eveld is only a short term fix for this season. We really need Bench to step his game up and play well enough in practice to steal away the starting job.
  20. No sure exactly what direction i think se should go. Gotta say that I agree that Eveld is not the answer, an it appears that Floyd is a great practice QB that can't take it out to the game field. I say let Floyd and Bench duke it out. Redshirt White, and let these two suffer thru the year for better or worse.
  21. Agree that Skip left us an undeniably SOFT team. Post game comments from CWT about players quitting on the field back that up. Was tonight a train wreck? Yes. Did the players look awful? Yes. Were we outcoached? Yes. I think old Skippy and his soft ways have set this program back five years. Attitudes do not change overnight. CWT will have his hands full trying to right this ship and instill the winning attitude again. We once would take on all comers. Right now we are playing soft and playing scared. I do believe that CWT is the right guy, and I am just going to buckle my seatbelt and hang on for the next couple of years. I would hope many of you are willing to do the same.
  22. The wife just got me a flight up to Detroit for my birthday! What a great Bull she is! Staying with family in Ann Arbor and hoping to do the double dip USF/MSU & ND/UM.
  23. I was never a big Sharp fan because he was way too streaky. He never had the consistency that Dobras had.
  24. I've watched USF hoops since the late 80's and as Bulliever said, there have been many good 3 pt shooters, but needing one shot, I would give it to Dobras. Always a clutch player. Over the last 25 years, I would rank them: 1. Dobras 2. Kohn 3. Atkins
