    Didn't make up to the O-hole, but watched online on CSTV. They interviewed Leavitt after the game and asked about Grothe's performance. He wouldn't pay the kid a compliment. He said he played a heckuva game, but he was impressed at how all 4 quarterbacks were ready to go and really into the game. Jeesh, is it too hard to compliment the kid that might just keep this team out of the crapper this year? Does he love Julmiste that much that he can't just single out Grothe's performance?

    Just curious but are the Greeks showing this interest for home games this year, too? Yea they were there with their  cool shirts that say "Meat n Potatoes" on the back and some weird letters on the front, instead of wearing usf shirts.  Complete herbs.  Get some confidence and a clue so next time you go somewhere new you wont have to pay for your group of friends.  Herman - president of the GDI's  (God **** independents) Greeks Rule! Funny how ten years after graduation some of my closest friends are the ones I "paid" for. Get a clue GDI!

    Grothe was all over him a few times for running poor routes. He needs to step it up. One big game does not a career make.

    That is the thing I noticed about Grothe right away. He was not afraid to let people know when they made mistakes. It was fairly obvious after watching the replay that our receivers still run very sloppy routes. Matt was in Amarri's junk a few times after poorly run routes. PJ has never shown that type of "intangible". For a freshman to do that shows what he is made of. His leadership looks to be natural, not something learned. Regardless of how the season should end up, I hope Matt is our QB for the duration.
