  1. Well the money doesn't instantly appear just because we joined a conference. The payday from the BCS bowl, surely could have addressed a few things, but we would still be chumps compared to other big time programs. we do not have even close to a big time budget. The problem is resources, and making websites to proclaim the "obvious" is not addressing the issue in a positive manner. Rambling on an internet message board about this or that is fine and cannot hurt the program, but negative press can. Trust me here. Making a negative website that gets media attention can hurt us in so many ways. We should be finding ways to attract fans that would not normally spend money on little ol USF. We should all give till it hurts and then give more. Thats what will make us big time. Not some website promoting a coaching change
  2. We play in a bigtime league, but we are not bigtime. Well as a fan of a school with extremely limited resources, you should understand why it is not to our benefit to associate negativism to our program. The coaches and administrators are aware of the issues. They then have to shift attention and resources to "our" attacks instead of being proactive in marketing the program. Thats how it works. we are still in our infancy. If you don't like it, give more money to the school. Encourage others to give. Only then will we be big time.
  3. Thanks Dmince, that really needed to be said. while I agree with the sentiment and understand the motivations of the negative stuff. I really think there are more contructive ways to get ot done. Sorry <insert name> EI, but the site does not reflect on the school well. I understand that poor performance on the field can have the same effect to recruits and the media, but we should take the high road here. Things like having a letter writing campaign to the Jim and Woolard would be better and not give negative "PR" signals. Now if it were a website making fun of Orlando and UCF, I'm all for it. There can be no wrong in that.
  4. Oh for some stupid reason, projects like this get all starry eyed over Orlando. I wouldn't put it past there.
  5. We are all guilty of being a bit too emotional this week. There are more constructive ways to bring about change and bring attention the failures as peceived by the fans. It's understandable though, as we spend thousands of dollars travelling and supporting the team just to see a miracle season end for very obvious and preventable reasons. To prevent things like this, with a program our age, we should donate more resources to the team. We just don't have the fan support to justify perfect results. It's not as if there is unlimited funding. What we have done this season winning and losing was nothing short of amazing. We need to keep perspective on things. We were in this until the last offensive play of the game.
  6. You must be talking about these people? http://wmscnn.stream.aol.com/cnn/us/2005/11/25/vonat.fl.shop.fight.affl. ws.wmv
  7. So does Orlando, guess what river flows right through the Orlando Metro?
  8. There is this place on the trail, just past the citrus bowl called the parli .....ah nevermind
  9. They have one at festival bay in the big zero. It's pretty nice, they had USF stuff there.
  10. The upper level "buc banners" could be draped with green and gold sponser banners just like the ground level. That would remove a bunch of red.
  11. Probably not good. We don't have the best record with day games. It's gonna be a nice day though!
  12. That is perhaps the gayest thing I have ever seen. As a former resident of Thornton Park, I can testify to such things.
  13. You have us confused with the self dubbed CUSA champs of oveido
