    UCONN is great at stopping the run. That is Temple's strength. Also weather can be a factor this time of year. Temple not that good to name their score so anything can happen here.

    Yes i live in jax beach and that was my reason. But the club section does kill the atmosphere....and i too have club seats. When they build the OCS they need to keep this area small.

    The university needs to get this on regular TV (both locally, Sunshine Network, etc). This is great stuff put together here.

    Yes, the students were about 12k of the 52k. The remaining crowd was about 50/50.

    Beef's just told a fraternity (that wanted about 20 guys there) that they could not accommodate them due to size. I could be wrong, but I think they will be back to begging people to come in numbers again. This post did wonders a few weeks ago, but now they are sending groups away....lol

    Bausfkid....FSU is ranked #36 and I am thinking that our profiles of incoming freshman are very similar at this point, are they not? Let's focus on that comparison first....and let's keep it to the last two years 2015 and 2016.

    Average SAT score up to record 1226, ACT 28 and GPA 4.08 for entering freshmen....yet we fall is totally BS. I think we probably beat FSU on some of these entering freshmen metrics now. Beasufkid....how is this not good 'academics'? Please enlighten me what you are talking about.

    USF will be getting lots of mentions due to top FB commit Bruce Judson playing QB for Cocoa against the top Jacksonville team (Trinity Christian) Sunday at 2pm. Game is at Cocoa for those in that area. Trinity Christian is like Armwood of the Tampa area (and probably better). They are the former school of USF's Chris Barr (slot WR).

    Attended the last 3 student sendoff "Round Ups" in Jacksonville. Students there have been very impressive in what USF is attracting. BTW....proud that my son will be taking his 5.6 gpa 'talents' to Fowler Ave next year as well. (playing on LeBron's old saying).

    Event was another big success in Jax. 27 incoming students plus parents, over 100 people total. I gave away 2 of my Navy football tickets as a giveaway to try and get a set of parents to head to Tampa on Oct 28 to make them Bull fans. The kids are very smart and many came from Jax's best schools (Paxon, Stanton, Bolles, etc).

    Agree. We have the one in Jacksonville this Sunday at Marriott Southpoint at 2pm.

    As a regular season ticket holder, I purchased my extra tickets for FSU game. However, I was limited by the number of season tickets I had. But I found a great other way was to buy the 3 game pack. There is still good 1st level seats this weekend. You could package these 3 games and works out great: FSU, Navy, and UCF. Or replace UCF with Northern Illinois and that would be good too. Just throwing the idea out there. It's not expensive by doing this.
