    Jose sounded absolutely exhausted during the 30 seconds of post-game interview on Bulls Unlimited. I'm exhausted just listening to the last two games, so I can't even imagine how he feels right now. So happy for the ladies and the staff. These are the types of games they could have in the NCAA tournament.

    This team will win a lot of games. Too bad last night wasn't one of them. The loss itself doesn't hurt. It's the fact that they had it in hand and let it slip away in such an unlikely turn of events at the end. Not the end of the world, obviously, but it sure would have been a nice win.

    Basketball requires athleticism, but less athletic teams beat more athletic teams all the time. I'm glad that didn't happen tonight.

    There were some really nice moments on offense tonight, but mostly it's not very creative. The team chemistry isn't there on that side of the court yet. So much great athleticism on this team. I hope they start to click.

    It will be interesting to see what will most motivate the top college football talent in the coming years. Obviously, it will depend on the individual athlete, but recruiters from USF's conference will surely be selling the chance to compete on a national stage in the new playoffs. If the USFs of the world (notice how I refuse to use that "G" word that ends with a number 5 ) can convince enough talent to join forces then a first round playoff loss need not be an assumption. Now, if it all comes down to NIL, then USF will unfortunately have a tall hill to climb. Guess we'll see...

    You never know... According to his post, the departure of Volunteers OC Alex Golesh played a role in his decomittment. In an interview with On3's director of recruiting, Chad Simmons, Bennett made it known that he would ensure his next commitment would be his last one. "I plan on really taking my time with my commitment because I will not be decommitting again. Next school I choose will be my home, so I'm doing my due diligence." That guy's abs have abs in his decommit message picture.

    We don't yet know how the portal and recruiting are going to affect USF or the teams on our schedule next year, so it's pretty tough to make any predictions based on this or recent seasons. Definitely fun to speculate though. I'll go with... all of the games (except Alabama) will be equally tough and hopefully winnable for USF.
