  1. I'm proud of his work and the team's accomplishments. He's not stiff, but I honestly wouldn't call him a mobile quarterback. Like Memphis QB from last year, great arm, opportunistic running, but not my definition of dual threat.
  2. Call it arrogance or confidence, either way you have to call him the head football coach at FSU. Whether you think he deserves it or not, his style resonates with the players, in turn he gets results. You don't have to like the path of his ascension, but luck doesn't really get you where he's at. I'm sorry he left too, but jealousy doesn't look good on anyone. His comments hurt because you allow them to. Truth is the truth. Lowkey we're jealous of a school that I'll never admit to being jealous of. There 0-12 was a dumpster fire WITH talent. Our pitiful years were a dumpster fire with little talent and a team mentality accustomed to losing. I wish CWT the best because whatever he does, his name will always be associated with USF. We are apart of his legacy and he left us better than he found us. Now CCS is building to take us into the promise land.
  3. This should highlight the stupidity of the SEC bias. It should also show how the playoff committee is paid off. Hate UCiF but hopefully this changes things for the greater.
  4. I hate UCiF. I despise the SEC bias... I wasn't UCiF to put on a show but lose a heartbreaker. That'll put a damper on the SEC love fest, make the AAC look respectable, and have the knights not have an undefeated season.

  6. Tried to keep*** He didn't disappoint! Today he added to the legacy of Quinton "The G.O.A.T." Flowers!!!
  7. Went to the pep rally and got a photo with Q while waiting for the band to play. I tried not to keep a cool demeanor while saying thank you.
  8. I mean watching Q highlights... Sometimes I forget just how many times he bailed us out. He's truly the G.O.A.T. and it's going to fill like a step back even if we have a good backup.
  9. Privileged=/=Racist Not acknowledging your privilege and doing your part to correct societies ills is another topic for another day. But none of that makes you racist. Higher education when done properly challenges your thought processes and broadens your mind to perspectives and struggles/ successes outside of your own.
  10. Rumble young man rumble. He could already recruit his tail off, now you add the FSU logo and it's a wrap in the state of Florida. The gap between FSU and UF is going to be a canyon. I hope they set the football world on fire and get a championship within the next 3 years. I never had anything less than love for xCWT and xCJL. Beat the brakes off of the competition not named USF and carry our names with your success. After we get reestablished following the Q years, I'll welcome a home and home. The battle will be legendary! Barring injury, there's no reason they won't be in competition next year. FSU is now my distant second favorite team.
  11. Anyone know how this year compared to the "Bull shark" defense. All of this productivity without a gimmick or coach worship really. What's the difference?
  12. We're no slouches and of they beat Memphis again that'll be impressive. Memphis is humming. Plus beating the same team twice is harder than one would think.
  13. I'll say if UCiF gets the championship this time it was legit earned. It wasn't gotten through clubbing baby seals in a down year. This conference put up some legit teams. That game was ours to win. All we had to do is score when we had the lead and got the stop. Or not allow a kick return... As optimistic as I am, I will question the decision heavily of we keep the sane special teams coach.
  14. The main people talking about firing everyone and calling out student athletes are the same ones that said we didn't stand a chance. You bitched and moaned saying we'd get out coached. You said Q couldn't throw. You said the offense would be vanilla. You said our defense would get exposed. All of that was a lie. That was a hell of a game in all phases. Coaching was adaptive, offense was creative, defense was aggressive and opportunistic. I mean either UCiF did exactly what you thought they'd do or this team and coaching staff out performed. I mean either it's an I told you so or you're lashing out because we were a play or two away from you being wrong... This team deserves you investing even more in them. We lose a lot of seniors yes, but we have some promising talent behind them. Bulls future is bright. This loss is bittersweet. This senior team left it on the field. That's all any of us should ask.
  15. He did EVERYTHING you could ever ask of a college QB and more. That was a hell of a game and I'm a proud bull!!!
  16. Its hard to play against the refs and a good team. That was a great game, Q had an amazing performance, we had our opportunities but the game wasn't called fairly. That plus little mental breakdowns cost us.
  17. I would say the same bias that plays against us plays against them as well. There are no real "bad" teams. Just incomplete teams. UCiF last year was bad. Usf being holtzed was bad. FSU and UF are bad. Our bottom teams would still give them fits.
  18. Yes feed into the UCiF frenzy!!! It'll make us stomping a mud hole in them that much sweeter. I don't consider a trip less than 2 hours away an away game that gives true home field advantage. Both teams are going to be feeling themselves coming into this one. I give the edge to the team with the seniors who put the program on their back. The ones who suffered through watching an inferior team play in the AAC championship last year. Our team will hold nothing back and play to their full potential one this one. Underdogs, chip on their soldier, no respect nationally... I'd hate to be the knights on that glorious day of grid iron battle.
  19. Not so fast my friend...I believe OSU would've dropped the ball several times against our opponents and gotten hit harder because of their name alone. Dont drink the kool-aid of this p5 nonsense. Do they have the depth to outlast? Sure, but 1s vs 1s against the top teams in the American, or even just against the high powered offenses of the bottom half, I don't think they'd fair as well as the talking heads like to think they would.
  20. ... because of bad luck. 4 and 24 anyone??? Please tell me that if we play them 10 times that the result would be the same. It wouldn't. Whether it's the muffed kick, the reception over 4 defenders, or the poor clock management to end the game. None of those things ever happen again. The football gods had forsaken us. We didn't get steam rolled like OSU.
  21. Unless you seen somethingI didn't last night, Houston's D line will be the toughest we face all year. SMU was getting tons of push towards the end of the game. They have their 3 Bigs and nothing else once they're tired. There's a reason we get the rushing yards we do, our oline isn't a bunch of slouches. Look back on the BJ run for your life days for a point of reference. Shoot Q lit up the stat sheet because of the protection they were giving him. I respect UCiF in regards to their ability to score with time and open space. They'll get neither against us. Orlando might as well be a home game and we very rarely lose at home.
  22. Not sure why that got down voted so I balanced it out. He has a quick release but that's only effective if the defender is ten yards away from the receiver. Most of their explosive plays come when defenses aren't holding their assignments. We hold our assignments while keeping a spy on the QB and we're on easy street, pounding the rock all the way to the championship. Our d line will be the best they've seen all year. Won't be any running lanes opened up and their QB will be under duress all night, forcing him to get rid of the rock sooner than he'd like. Which in turn will force him into bad decisions. If he continues his trajectory, he'll be a stud, but for now he's a sophomore who will make sophomore mistakes. Plus the way their corners like to jump the route... I seen Q doing a pump fake to the bubble screen and hitting a streaking Scantling for a beautiful highlight worthy touchdown. They have speed... But so do all the teams built up with Florida natives. I would be impressed if the speed was attached to a bruiser and not a feather weight honestly. Their running back is hella fast and can run through arm tackles, but when you put a body on him it's lights out. I hope the team is as hype as I am about this game. I'm licking my chops at the opportunity to deflate the overhyped Mickey mouse brigade.
  23. Were they finding the soft spots in the zone coverages?
