i dont understand why the video changes anything for the nfl?  I mean what did they think happened in the elevator when they saw hiim drag her out?  Did he sneeze on her, did he bend over and his head clocked her jaw?  I mean i knew he knocked her out after watching him drag her lifeless body out of an elevator. 

 

NFL looks really dumb in all of this.  And he looks like the buffoon that he is.

Why is TMZ breaking this video. All very bizarre, almost as if the nfl knew about it and didn't want it to come out.

 

The casino in question has since closed due to bankruptcy.  It appears that employees from casino security sold both of these tapes to get themselves some money after being laid off.  The first tape outside the elevator was sold for $15,000.  This latest tape was sold to TMZ for $50,000.

Ray Rice's attorney, even in public statements, made it appear that Rice's fiancee had started the incident and Rice was defending himself.  Apparently the NFL bought this story, probably because they wanted it to go away as much as Rice did.  The video makes it clear that story is a bunch of hogwash.

Preface this.... I saw the video and what Rice did is horrid. That said... we're railing about Rice but we still have Chris Dunkley on our team? IIRC the story of what happened is quite similar if not worse. Dunkley went thru pretty much the same diversion program that Rice took as a plea deal.

Ray Rice screwed himself. I'm with Riz, someone with the NFL and Ravens organizations had to have seen that tape. There's no way that either organization collectively pulled an ostrich and sunk their corporate heads in the sand. I smell whistleblower, if this thing keeps gaining traction.
