Following up on this thread, and am glad to see that our new Men's golf coach has gotten off to a fast start, by leading his team to victory the first tourney of the season. The team then finished 2nd in the next event and is currently in 5th place at  Erin Hills Collegiate.

If you are in Tampa you should stop by and play the Claw golf course.  Very nice practice facility they have built out there as well --- albeit the range needs another 100 yards!

The range is perfect for my length. LOL

 

USF had a great final round (281), but still finished in 5th place. Chase Koepka shot 66 and moved up to T4 among the players. USF should be a top 20 team this season.

TAMPA, NOV. 20, 2014 – USF men’s golf has signed a trio of incoming freshmen that will contribute to the Bulls’ success immediately and for years to come.

First-year head coach Steven Bradley has added Swedish standouts Oskar Bergqvist and Felix Kvarnstrom, and infused some in-state talent with the signing of Kyle Kidd from Crystal River, Fla.

“I felt like I needed to hop right in and get some good, quality players, and I think we accomplished our goal,†Bradley said.

Nice video interview of USF Men's Golf coach Steven Bradley, on the Golf Channel. This Gives us wide exposure in thr golf community and is a great for recruiting.

USF has won 3 tourneys so far and is ranked in the top 20 in all the golf polls. which makes them the 2nd best men's team in Fl, only behind #1 FSU (who we defeated in one tourney). USF will be hosting NCAA golf championships at Concession GC in May. All of that and more is mentioned in the interview.
