So, we're replacing quitters, with other quitters!  :GoBulls:

How can you call Kareem Canty a quitter if his coach at Marshall was fired? Same goes for all the players that left USF after Heath was let go.

3. South Florida's set up for big jump in 2015-16: Former Kentucky assistant Orlando Antigua hasn't coached a game for the Bulls, but he's already laid a foundation for the future. Since being named South Florida's coach in late March, Antigua already has commitments from a two impact transfers: Kareem Canty (Marshall) and Roddy Peters (Maryland). The Bulls also have Oklahoma State's Kamari Murphy scheduled for an official visit June 1. Antigua has the pieces in place for South Florida to make a jump in his second season, but the most important goal for Year One is development of players already in the program. Rugged sophomore power forward Chris Perry is a cornerstone who has a "Danny Fortson" feel after averaging 8.9 points and 5.3 rebounds last season. The growth of Perry and veteran floor general Anthony Collins, who only played eight games last season because of a knee injury, is vital for the Bulls. Another thing South Florida must improve: Production on the wing. The Bulls shot only 25.8 percent from three-point range last season and need newcomers Troy Holston, Dinero Mercurius and Nehemias Morillo to emerge as consistent long distance threats to complement Perry.

I like the Danny Fortson comp. To me, Perry doesnt appear real active down low but gets his rebounds and plenty of shot opportunities around the rim.  Egbunu had the physical profile to eventually dominate the paint but Perry looked more consistent game to game in that it seemed he always got his, no matter the opponent.  Unlike years past, we should be ok down low but can we hit a shot from the perimeter?  damm I hope so

When comparing Perry and Egbunu, John always seemed to hustle more. In comparison, Chris was more of a loafer getting back downcourt. Hopefully his speed and offense-2-defense-2-offense recoveries will be quicker under Coach.

More importantly, he needs some pretty thick skin for being a USF Sports Radio Host. :)

Considering that we have not yet had an official school release on his signing, it's heartening to see that  Rodney is now accepting congrats for choosing USF, on twitter.
