  1. I'm big on giving second chances, but not for things like DUIs and Chris Dunkley being allowed back after domestic battery. I don't like the precedent being set with some of these decisions. Maybe if USF was 10-2 instead of 2-10 I'd be more willing to overlook some of it. If we were 10-2 they'd both be gone. We're in no position to jettison talented folks. It unfortunate, but wining is wining regardless of crummies in tummies you know. Well Dunkley has been far from a productive player and there's no evidence to suggest Mathies is a great coach. He's certainly replaceable like Hans Straub and Walt Wells. My point is if these guys were noticeably talented/productive/impactful, you'd be more willing to overlook it, especially if you're a winning team. If you're a losing team, you might as well try to run a clean program and set a good example for the Athletic Dept, the players, coaches, fans, etc.

  3. I don't think these projections are that far off. I see 4-8, possibly 5-7. Patience is a virtue for the fan-base when rebuilding the program.
  4. How can you call Kareem Canty a quitter if his coach at Marshall was fired? Same goes for all the players that left USF after Heath was let go. Welcome to the board. Stick around, and grow some thick skin More importantly, he needs some pretty thick skin for being a USF Sports Radio Host. Louisville native. kweiss1@mail.usf.edu Tampa Bay, Florida · bullsradio.org/bullsradio.m3u Do we have a new and improved Greg Auman in our midst, perhaps? No lol...I'm not a reporter per se. I just give opinions, call games etc. That's what Joey Knight and Jeff Odom are for at the Tampa Bay Times. Side note: Auman is great.
  5. 1.) Prado's replacement. Baseball lost some close games that could've gone either way and lose just three seniors, who weren't major impact guys. 2.) I wish it was Kareem Canty (IMO players should be eligible immediately if a coach is fired/leaves like what happened at Marshall.) But, I will say Corey Allen Jr. if he improves his 3-pointer and adds about 15 pounds. 3.) B; he has to take some criticism for the Masiello drama & search firm expenses. Made up for it with the Antigua hiring(and the relative low salary compared to other DI coaches.) But, he's cleaning up the mess left by Woolard and that takes time. Has a chance to make a great hire for USF Baseball. 4.) White on August 30th; Bench in September. 5.) Same

Must have thick skin to work in sports radio & work with the people in it.

I see...believe it or not I've seen some people on twitter with the "quitter" label and they were serious about it. Thought it was the same case here. My bad.
