They gave away a pair of SMS headphones each week. Never heard of them and I consider myself a little bit of a headphone buff. I'd have to go to Head-fi.org and see what the consensus is on them. I've got a dozen different headphones from several different makers including Sennheiser. They probably are for the Beats crowd, just by looking at them. My favorites are the Sony MR-1, Ultrasone HFI-780 and on the low end, the new Onkyo ES-FC300. Ultrasone has always done me well in the studio regardless of genre. They're also really easy to work with when it comes to replacing parts. If I had any complaints about them, it'd be the headband after a few years, but that's really only a problem in an environment where multiple players are using them.
