Of all the old players to keep...why didn't they give Clark another year? He has 4x the catches and yards of Byham who has the most of the Bucs TEs.

It doesn't matter. The TEs and receivers depend on the QB to get them the ball. Freeman's completion/attempt ratio is awful. Yeah, he's had some guys drop some catchable balls, but he's been overall woefully inaccurate.

Good thing is the O-line has been decent this year. If Glennon can make quick decisions, good things may happen. Great to have Carl Nicks back on the offensive line.

Coach Greg Schiano met with the fifth-year pro Wednesday morning and told him that rookie Mike Glennon would be the starter in Sunday's home game against the Arizona Cardinals -- and beyond.

I expect he'll end up somewhere winning a Super Bowl like Doug Williams and Trent Dilfer.

Doug Williams and dilfer won meaningful games and made the playoffs in Tampa. (I think dilfer did in tpa..)

Freeman has won absolutely nothing.

You have nothing to worry about.

Hoping they can get a third rounder for him, but that may be pretty high.

About 2 rounds too high. He seen as a backup by most of the nfl or at best a qb challenge vs a starting on a team with shotty qb play.

The two teams I read speculation early were Vikings and Jags were interested.

If I was a team who needed a qb, I'd play this year out and draft bridgewater, Hundley, Manziel or Boyd over trading for Freeman. Lots of good qbs coming out.

If they get Tebow, I will stop watching them.  I've been a Bucs fan since their inception.

Fan since their inception, too, and that would be the biggest test yet .... but from a strictly 3rd qb standpoint (even though Orlavsky has shown nothing) I don't really know who else is out there... the problem would be would be the mouth breathing Gator/Buc fans trying to make it a qb controversy.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
