Saw this today and thought briefly maybe we could get something like this...and then I realized we don't have an "Uncle Phil"

Crazy that people say college football is not about money!  Crazy part is they have just recently started to really win

I love our improvements, but seeing stuff like this makes me realize we are small fries still.

Nike money has done wonders for that program.

Geez, It only took Oregon 119 years to get that, give USF a chance and BE REALISTIC.

Not a knock on our program at all, if anything a knock on college football and UO...this thing looks better than most NFL programs I bet.

But when they have to deal with schools like USC and UCLA they better have some nice facilities I guess...have to have something to retain the talent

All this money - does Oregon's football program operate at a profit?

$68 million funded by Nike founder and Oregon alumnus Phil Knight. They don't need to operate at a profit with him as a donor.

Need to start checking the alumni list at USF for billionaires. Or at least half billionaires. There are a few corporate big wigs.

Eddie Carpenter President of Disneyland and CFO, Walt Disney Attractions

George Reyes Chief Financial Officer of Google, and a director of BEA Systems and Symantec,

James Atchison CEO of SeaWorld,

Problem is you need to find a billionaire alumnus who has a desire to grow the program.  Phil Knight has been that guy for Oregon because he has a desire for Oregon to be the best.  We don't just need billionaire alumni, we need alumni who want to help USF be the best.  It has to happen organically, and won't just happen because our university makes a call.

I wish Gallagher was more involved.
