I secretly signed her up for a wife's clinic sponsored by the Bucs. She wasn't too thrilled at first. I think she realized that if she wanted any quality time with me from September to January she might want to get into the game a bit. When she completed the clinic she was a new person. She actually brought home the study material she was given and actually studied it as if she was in school preparing for an exam. Excited, and with a modicum of football knowledge, she became outright dangerous. The knowledge she gained also made it much more enjoyable for her as she watched our boys grow up playing youth and high school football. It's one f the best things I could have done for her, and me. She still has all her material from that clinic to this day. I strongly urge all ladies who have the chance to take a clinic like this to do so. It will be fun and you'll create a happy significant other.

Most don't have the interest level in football enough to employ math skills and figure something out--it's an alien world and isn't subject to the same laws of physics/mathematical identities/common sense to them. It's like most of us men wanting to understand color coordination or romantic dramas. Kudos to you guys that have spouses willing to do this!
