What issues were they having?

Btw, I wonder why they moved? Did the price of the old lease go up? I feel like the road presence from their original location was a lot better than in the Chipotle complex.

I would expect that $$ is the biggest factor.  The new location is a a few blocks closer to campus.  It may or may not be smaller than his previous location, but that isn't the main issue either.  Visibility from Fowler Avenue isn't as good, but I don't think it is a major stumbling block either.  Hopefully Craig will have a nice big sign there, like the one he had on the other store.  As I said before, I will be glad when he has Bulls Outfitters up and running again.

Go visit him, and support the store.  He is the only competition for the bookstore in Tampa now.  I know Bealls carries some USF stuff but not as much and not the same quality.

I buy most of my Bulls stuff from Craig. He's a great guy who loves USF. I drove to the plaza Saturday, it looks like the new location will be in the back corner next to the scrubs place. At least that was the only open space and based on his statements that they got access last week.

Getting next to Chipotle is a much better move in my opinion.

Fowler is so oversaturated with strip malls as it is, so visibility from the road is a moot point.  His store is basically a destination trip at this point in the old location.

Now with the amount of college students that visit Chipolte he will hopefully get more walk-in traffic.

May or may not be true, but I heard there were issues with the landlord.
