Soccer fights

I have never seen anything like this. Will events such as these ever find their way to America with the increasing popularity of soccer (I just assume these were soccer fans)

 

This is hardcore fandom, yet you can see that they do not intend to leave any permanent injuries, and they are all wearing gloves. But someone could get pretty messed up if a particularly strong punch landed in the right spot.

Seems like there are some rules, like no kicking or hitting a guy after he goes down or tries to retreat.

In all seriousness, the hooligans are a very small population of soccer fans. Most teams don't have any because the leagues are starting to punish the teams for the actions of their fans. So the teams actually ban people that are identified as hooligans.

 

With all of that said when Orlando FC came over to play the Bulls a couple of years ago, they were dropping "F"bombs. I had enough and told them to stop. Of course the loudest idiot was wearing a ucf hat. I hope that Orlando FC falls flat in their attempt to move to the MLS.

Yep, any time large crowds gather and there is alcohol a fight is a near certainty.

There are some places in Europe, western Asia, and Africa where you can get beaten up by opposing fans/hooligans if you're wearing a rival club's colors (purposely or accidentally)...crazy!
