With what $? Not exactly like we are rolling in the dough, we barely have enough conference revenue to make ends meet. Without ^^this incentive, really the rest of your points are meaningless: 2) Since we can't afford to pay players, we won't be able to attract any "bigger name" recruits than currently are, so USF vs. SMU won't have any more appeal nationwide than it currently does. 3) See above - I really think your whole thing hinges on payment of players, which we can't afford to do ... 4) This would be beneficial to some schools, but not sure how this will help better the situation. I don't want our players playing high. 5) You seem to forget ... they're in SCHOOL ... terrible idea to loosen up academic requirements. As an alum who paid good money to get my degree at USF, I would be livid if they loosened up already lax academic requirements for athletes. 6) Whoopidee-doo ... I might as well watch 1-AA. 7) I don't mind this because if coaches can drop everything and go to any other school they want, players should be able to also. ---------- IMO, these suggestions are not enough to make a compelling league that most people would want to watch. In fact, I'm against quite a bit of these suggestions. It won't help bridge the talent gap and it won't help anyone else "move up" to the P5. USF CAN afford it and would be able to afford it the new league would have a brand new fat tv contract usf football and other non big 5 teams will go into the crapper if they don't form a new league

That's how beneficent and big of a roller he is, y'all.

Pay the players & let them use all the drugs they want. Sounds great if you want to have your school rep'd by some 'roided up clowns that couldn't pass the 3rd grade with a tutor. Why not just open up a con-league and let 'em play no-rules? The guys in your league will just end up there anyway, if they make it out alive that is.
