Tulsa will indeed by joining in 2014, per McMurphy on Twitter.

Judy Genshaft involved....I hope she is looking in all directions....

“East Carolina University is delighted to play all sports in this conference,” Ballard said in a statement. “We appreciate the leadership of Mike Aresco and (South Florida) President Judy Genshaft and we look forward to working with each university.”

My fear is Judy is getting a rush being so important in this make shift conference and in her mind feels like the Texas of the New Conf USA 2.0.

Judy and Doug time to wake up, We are now a MID MAJOR and being the Big Dawg of the Mid Major is NOT what the fans expect and not what we want.

Who can name the C-USA teams (v 1.0) missing from this conglomerate of C-USA teams?

I know Southern "Eye Gouge" Mississippi, my favorite target of derision, UAB, and I think Army was a member.

Tulane was a member, I remember being disappointed we didn't get an away game, and  I think both TCU & Houston were members. If I

recall, it was structured that you didn't necessarily play all of your conference mates. Now, when you say CUSA 1.0, I'm assuming as of our

admission. I wouldn't know about pre-USF era. I didn't include Memphis, L'ville & Cinci as 66.66% still have a foot in Conference TBA.

Who'd I miss?

I don't think there was a Pre-USF C-USA.

I don't think there was a Pre-USF C-USA.

Are you speaking in the literal or philosophical sense?  :GoBulls:  Yeah, CUSA was a combination of the Metro and some other conference.

It was founded in '95, but for football, we played a handful of CUSA teams prior (indie)  to the '03 season when we were conference members for football.

The future teams are UNCC, FAU, FIU, MTSU, LA Tech, North Tejas, Old Dominion and Tejas San Antone.

Creepy.

IMO, ALL conference members should be FULL members, Navy should be all-in or find another member to bring the conference to 12, or stay at 11 schools and play every team in football every season.  I have never been a fan of conference schedules where every team doesn't play every other team in conference (the only fair way to determine the conference champions. It also helps build rivalries.  With eleven teams, everyone has 5 home, and 5 away conference games every season.  Only needing to schedule 2 OOC games should make it easier to schedule better opponents, and do away with 1AA/FCS cupcakes.
