Howie in the Hills  -  I would also look at Sarasota.

____

if you're looking at Sarasota, you could look at the ritz carlton. I believe if you stay there you have access to their beach club and golf course, which i'm pretty sure they shuttle people back and forth to from the hotel. I've toured the beach club and it was really nice, never been to the golf course.

I've never been to any sort of meetings at that one, but I went to one at a Ritz in Colorado and that was nice and seemed well planned.

I never liked Innisbrook for business conferences because the place is too chopped up with meetings in too many separate buildings which cuts down on interaction (sales) among attendees.  Hard to do business.  I prefer big hotel with meeting rooms all clustered together in one spot.

I know Champions Gate off of I-4 gets pretty rave reviews. I've never played the courses there, but I have gone to a few top notch conferences on site.
