His defense at Youngstown State manhandled Pittsburgh last year

Paneech: Who is the greatest college coach you have worked with in the past?

Kravitz: I have been lucky to have been around some really good people. Ken Riley, who helped me get my start at Florida A & M, was a great influence. He is a name that people in the South might know, he played for the Bengals. I was fortunate to be with Chuck Amato at North Carolina State. I don’t know who would be the greatest, but all of the guys I have worked with have left their mark on me.

I wonder where JL left his mark on Rick.

Leavitt always leaves a mark...

Kravitz was just coaching highschool in Ocala.  I know that he was trying to get the DC job for the Bulls, but it didn't work out.  He is a good guy, and a great coach.  His family is in St. Pete, probably why he wants Gibbs.

Coach Kravitz is a great coach and an ever better person to be around. I won't comment on the Kravitz - Leavitt relationship.

Krafty's a great guy...very down-to-earth. He did a fine job as co-defensive coordinator along with Wally.

Good form on not mentioning the latter.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
