How did Kyle Schafenacker like his visit to USF? It wasn't the 'concrete jungle' he thought it would be.

Maybe O'Korn was looking for some more protection.

Do people really think our campus is a "concrete jungle"? I love our campus and got plenty of enjoyment just walking around and enjoying the scenery when there was no one on campus.

Probably part of the "commuter school" ******** ... nothing but parking lots. The redone athletic area's landscaping really helps with the curb appeal.

If anyone ever wants to see a concrete jungle, visit FAU.  There are actually some aspects of that I like.  Very easy to get from one class to another without sun or rain.  But it is merely a collection of buildings.

When I was a student, the three most common nicknames were:

1. University of Sun and Fun

2. Coppertone U

3. USF, where the concrete never sets

So, I can kinda see where the concrete comment comes from...

University of Busch Gardens was a popular nickname when I was a student between 1996-2000. There were many more parking lots back then than today...

Jamie Newberg â€@JamieNewberg

#usf could flip this committed offensive line prospect. We all should know by early next week

You missed the most important aspect..in 60-s-when I was there... the breweries had free food  ..They helped many a poor USF student thru school. Not to mention the free beer. :icon_drink:

Can't wait to see what Kyle says after his UConn visit. Better get on board quick son, those spots are disappearing fast.
