Well said Mike. I would roll with Chico any day of the week over the OC's we've had in place. And yes, the offense changed depending on our depth at RB and our QB. I wish we still had Marquel running the show at QB. He was a winner...

I don't understand the venom towards Canales. Some of you may want to look at how BJ Daniels played as a freshman under Chico compared to how BJ played the rest of his career without Canales.

He was a solid, but not elite OC. However, he has the intangibles to be an elite head coach. Great head coaches don't have to necessarily be great coordinators. Likewise, great coordinators don't necessarily make great head coaches.

USF is missing a great opportunity if they don't take a serious look at him.

The press on Chico regarding his time at Arizona was the same as what we complained about here. He may be a great guy but I never liked our offense under him. Perhaps that was personel issues.
