I think we are in the process of expanding our atheltics....we are just missing the big kahuna...football.

The question is, do we want to do it? And even if we do, at this point, would it even help?

The question is, do we want to do it? And even if we do, at this point, would it even help? Depends on where we end up... once the conferences reach 16 teams each then that is it... Even if we don't make it into the big boy conferences then we should still put up the money and focus on being the next Boise State, instead of the next Miami or Pitt. I don't think the conferences will all reach 16. I don't see any teams leaving the Big12. Who else would the PAC take to grow to 16? Certainly not BYU

While surprising, it doesnt hurt. Its the next move thats going to matter most as the Louisville/UCONN 'winner' to the ACC will better define our opportunities going forward. We need to hope its UCONN (as the ACC is the only place they are going to get offered) and we can somehow tie ourselves to Louisville who will be aggressive as ever to move next. I dont think Cincy and Louisville is a great a package on the TV and demographic front where it appears decisions are being made. rutgers is one of the better programs in big east this is a killer
