Guessing he was promised that he wouldn't have to Redshirt is first year during recruiting.... I guess Holtz plays a lot of NCAA 13'

What?? LOL... His plan was to RS to be sure the knee was good after he wasn't activated for the UT CHATT game... He also didn't travel to Nevada... He was dressed every game since... First due to injuries to Webster... Now... Not real sure. Cosh had him in for 3 plays in the first half of the Ball State as a CB and he played sparingly at UL on special teams.

The kid has worked his tail off to get back after the injury and is willing to do anything to support the team... He loaths losing... it eats at him... but he can't do anything from the sideline and that's not his choice to have to stand there. This is just another example of horrible coaching.

Just to be clear... He wanted to RS... Playing him wasn't as a result of him whining to play or anything like that.

He'll have a good shot at being a starting corner in 2013, more so having worked with the 2nd-team defense much of the season, as opposed to working on the scout team as a redshirt. He's been limited by the knee injury or he would have played more ...
