I just watched the last 1:30 or so, thought that was enough.

Was there anything else I should watch?

All jokes aside, you can see that when it is not obvious we are going to run, the run blocking has been much improved the last couple of weeks. The improved running game gave one hope until they had to give the ball back over, LOL.

the run blocking has always been good under skip. problem is they continue to call 30+ pass plays per game. of course there are times when defenses can stop us running but we did lead BE and were #31 in country running the ball last year. that's why it's head scratching why they always default to the pass. BTW his run game and defense at ecu was why he won.

Shame on you for putting me in positon to defend Skip but I will (LOL). I think that they do pass more than they should but his running game only works if it looks like they might pass. If the team does not at least put up the facade that they may pass, the running game struggles. I think he knows that and over compensates by passing too much.

If I may add, I did like that they went into the "I" formation and threw deep to Davis. I would love to see more of that with the extra pass blocker since Daniels always seems to be under duress (his fault or not).

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
