Prepare your livers and your blood pressure for my arrival.

That's right, the once-in-a-lifetime event of me not being here in Tampa to drink while yelling at USF through the TV, and instead, being in Atlanta to yell north-bound toward Louisville, is upon us. Word on the street is the Atlanta bulls meet at Pub 71 on Peachtree Rd (free peaches?). Now, I know GT has a game that day at 3. Will there be a mass of yellow jackets at the bars cockblocking the USF game? Should I expect a herd of stampeding half drunk bulls at said Pub? Can we all cry into each others' arms if we lose? Can we go to Cheetah if we win?

Who's with me?

I don't think you have to worry about the Techies. There's really not THAT many of them in Atlanta, and most of them that would be in the Pub 71 area of Atlanta would probably be at the game themselves.

When I go to alumni watch parties, I usually go to Miller's Ale House in Alpharetta, it's closer to me. Won't be there this week though, will be in Louisville personally cheering on the BULLS.

Any Techies in the city will be at the game. Al the other usual suspects have late games except SC/Florida which is at 3:30 pm. I have always called Bar X before hand and said "Hey we want to bring 20 people to see game y. Are you showing it? Then you dont have to worry about fighting the SEC and ACC alumni to see a game. Helps that its intown and not Griffin or Rome. You might have to fight someone then.

I think that seems to be the conclusion... just call a bar ahead of time and let them know I'll be there if they show the game.
